Hi all, I have successfully completed the "Linear Regression " course offered by Great Learning Academy. #greatlearningacademy #greatlearning #glacertificate Example of Linear Regression:- Sale of Sweaters depends on the less temperature where y = Sale of Sweater value and x = less temperature value y is dependent variable and x is an independent variable In class 12th, we might have learnt about coordinate geometry where we learnt about calculation of slope,intercept. y = mx + c for Linear Regression y= m1x1+m2x2+m3x3+...+c for Multiple Regression so whatever the values we get for x and y and we get a graph 📊 to represent them, there is a Regression Predicted Forecast value expressed by R Square, which has values (0 or 1) if the RSquare value is near to 1 then we have a correct Predicted data and if its value is near to 0 then we have a wrong prediction. If we use Ms.excel too which has a Forecast.Linear() to get you the Rsquare value. Thanks to Great Learning Learning and GL Educator Ms.Sampriti Chatterjee to have explained the concept of Linear regression thru Python (Colab) very well.
