We believe capacity building is at the epicenter of organizational effectiveness. Yet historically in our sector, it hasn’t worked as well as it should. It’s expensive – each org has to figure it out for themselves – and typical “white paper” offerings often don’t take into account the practical complexities of how nonprofits will implement in the real world. Each year, in collaboration with our members, we create a series of cohort-based Capacity-Building Program Tracks designed to solve for these challenges. By looking across our 100+ member orgs, we work to understand what the most urgent capacity building priorities are in our community, and then design deeply responsive, high impact programming. This programming is: 1️⃣ Included in our membership fee with no additional cost to member orgs, enabling more leaders to do more of it. 2️⃣ Done in cohorts, so that peer learning and accountability are built in, enabling leaders to understand all the ways these same needs and challenges show up across our sector. 3️⃣ Explicitly designed not as a “white paper,” but a series of practitioner-led sessions resulting in a co-created blueprint that leaders can take back to their orgs, ready for implementation. One of the highlights of 2024 is our continued work with Lamont Elementary School District. Our partnership with Lamont began by developing a shared Framework for the Future through inclusive dialogue and community voice. Starting in 2023, we've supported educator-led innovation through cohorts, workshops, and micro-schools, creating coherent pathways for learner-centered practices district-wide. As a mom and a professional, I can tell you that juggling dreams, deadlines, and school pick-ups often feels like a circus act—minus the applause! But amidst the chaos, I’ve learned the profound impact that dreams have on shaping our futures. When girls are empowered to dream, they cultivate a sense of purpose and direction that fuels their ambition and inspires those around them. Dreaming is just the beginning, for with it opens the door to vision—an ability to see beyond our circumstances and imagine a better world. Women with vision can challenge societal norms, become leaders, and drive meaningful change in their communities and the lives of those around them. However, dreams need nurturing. It is important that we provide support through education, mentorship, and opportunities. As we invest in the aspirations of young girls, we pave the way for a more equitable future where their potential knows no bounds. Imagine what that could mean! Today, on International Day of The Girl Child—Let’s celebrate the dreams of girls today and commit to empowering them to become the visionaries of tomorrow. Together, we can build a world where every girl has the chance to realize her dreams.

Our STEM expedition showcased that immersive technology is key to revolutionizing education, especially for those traditionally underrepresented in STEM fields. Witnessing my daughter conquer college calculus reiterated that each academic milestone is a collective family triumph. • **Virtual Reality Redefining Education:** It's not merely teaching science; it's about enabling students to LIVE it. VR has metamorphosed intricate concepts into interactive odysseys, rendering learning as exhilarating as a video game. • **Empowering Through Legacy:** Genuine education metamorphoses lives. By intertwining cultural legacy with state-of-the-art technology, we pave the way for future innovators.
