2025 has arrived! Here we go again, I am back! A "New Year" is a symbol of positivity. Your chance for a "clean slate" and if needed, a time to implement a life-change. Celebrating the turn of the year, and marking January 1st as "The New Year" is all thanks to Julius Caesar wishing to celebrate Janus - The Roman God of Beginnings, Gates, Transitions and Endings - depicted as a bearded man with two faces: One face in the past and the other in the future. The Left, (the past) a Pessimist; and the Right (the future) an Optimist. We should always look to the future optimistically (what can become and what improvement can be made on what already is). Try to put aside the negative emotions, experiences and occurrences of years gone and let it not shape our year ahead. Instead, focus on positivity and the good. This year when you use the phrase "look forward" take a moment to recognise that it means something enjoyable is around the corner and worth working towards. Have a fantastic 2025 everyone, make it count and enjoy the ride. May you be supported by the people you love and those you work with and grow through building new connections, gaining new experiences and new learnings. 3 YEARS IN THE MIX Three years ago, I took a leap of faith and left behind my day job as an accountant to pursue my passion in property.
