President and CEO at Children's Aid

The outcome of this presidential election is not the result many of us envisioned. While we are still coming to terms with what these results mean for us, our families, our communities and our futures, it’s okay to take time to process our emotions before we forge a new path forward. At the same time, we are reminded that we must always remain vigilant and committed to safeguarding our children’s futures. Crucial issues including accessible and affordable child care, funding for Head Start programs and school safety measures are at risk. The nonprofit community supporting children and families across New York will lead the way in advocating for the people we serve – now more than ever. In the coming months, we must continue to fight for the issues that matter most. Now is not the time to back down on our promises. At Children's Aid, we are reinvigorating our commitments and doubling down our efforts to provide for our students and families. We’ll continue to be right there with you, every step of the way.

Phoebe Boyer, I’ve been a 30+ year supporter of the children’s aid Society, and I do so with non-political viewpoints, I do so to help those inner city families to succeed in their lives. As a Democrat, I take offense to any political commentary, this countries had enough divisiveness, and it’s time to stop complaining about an overwhelming victory by the Republican Party. The people have spoken and we must deal with the realities and work within the boundaries of such.
