In my last role at The Lab Consulting I spent three years selling our patented standardization, automation technology solution to the vertical industry of 700 banks and 500 credit unions. With 12 years of experience in the Restaurant/Hospitality industry as well as an additional 12 years of experience in sales and business development and a proven track record of exceeding targets, I have consistently achieved over 150% of my sales quota for the past three years, driving over $3 million in revenue annually. I am particularly skilled in building and nurturing long-term relationships, as evidenced by my successful management of a portfolio of over 100 client accounts, with an average growth rate of 25% year-over-year. My strong communication and negotiation skills, combined with my ability to develop strategic partnerships, make me the ideal candidate for this role. Heard an interesting stat: 70% of Billionaires started in Sales. My first actual sales job was Sunglass Hut selling sunglasses 😎. Then I got into banking and for 7 years learned a ton about selling. I even did direct sales with Amway and Prepaid legal and sucked but learned a lot 😅. What’s funny is, even “non-sales” jobs like my first job: working at Subway, still had a sales element 👇🏼 -Remembering customers names -Speed/Efficiency -Making a good sub for clients to come back -Pitching chips and a drink for the meal combo A lot of folks don’t consider certain jobs as sales but in my opinion, we’re selling stuff every day! 🍿 You saw a good movie and told someone about it? That’s sales. 👶🏻Have kids? You’re selling them everyday on right vs wrong 💃🏽You pulled a hot significant other? Sales 😂 Sales people rank 3rd on the list of highest-paying jobs without a degree. My question is, if sales can be so lucrative, why are so many people afraid of it? Maybe it’s because you tried a sales job before and sucked so you came the conclusion that “sales isn’t for me”. Or a family member told you how hard it is so you never tried. How I see it, we’re all selling whether you like to admit it or not, you might as well get paid for it!!Especially NOW, during a time where everything has become more expensive.
