In #BurkinaFaso, we supported the Ministry of Health’s Prevention Through Vaccination Division to conduct an intra-action review on malaria vaccination implementation in the country. The review sought to identify the main current challenges, best practices, and lessons learned in malaria vaccination, point out corrective actions to improve overall introduction performance and reduce attrition between malaria vaccine doses, and formulate recommendations and action points as health officials prepare to scale up implementation. In November 2024, we held a report validation workshop with partners to confirm the results. Following the workshop, partners will receive the report in order to be able to use its findings for improved malaria vaccination implementation.
