🌍 Exciting Insights from PwC’s Global Transfer Pricing Conference in Madrid! 🌍 I had the incredible opportunity to be part of the workshop "Transfer Pricing & Sustainability" at the prestigious PwC Global Transfer Pricing Conference in Madrid. The conversation was both enlightening and inspiring, bringing to light the more and more relevant intersection of TP and sustainable practices. A special thank you to Jacek Przybylski for sharing his personal experiences made on this (ongoing) journey from an intra-company perspective and my co-panelists Ronan Finn Barry Murphy Sarah Firth (Hughes). Key takeaways from the session: 1. CSRD and Transfer Pricing Documentation: We explored how the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) aligns with existing transfer pricing documentation requirements. Ensuring consistency between these frameworks is crucial for transparent and compliant reporting. 2. Sustainability-Driven Value Chains: The session highlighted the transfer pricing implications of sustainability-driven changes in value chains. Assessing these impacts is vital for strategic decision-making and accurate tax / transfer pricing treatment. 3. Collaborative Efforts: Collaboration between tax, finance, and sustainability teams is paramount. By working together, organizations can develop robust strategies that balance financial objectives with sustainable growth. Kudos to PwC for organizing this insightful session and to the speakers for their valuable contributions! It's clear that the future of transfer pricing also lies in its ability to adapt and evolve in response to the pressing need for sustainable business practices. #TransferPricing #Sustainability #PwC #GlobalConference #Madrid #CSRD
