As we explore more ways to turn fish waste into valuable resources, let’s dive into energy production—specifically, converting fish waste into biogas and biodiesel. Fish waste, especially oils and fats, can be processed into biodiesel, providing a renewable energy source. Meanwhile, other fish byproducts, such as bones and guts, can be broken down through anaerobic digestion to produce biogas. Both options offer eco-friendly alternatives to fossil fuels, helping reduce the environmental impact of energy production. By repurposing fish waste for fuel, we’re closing the loop in fish processing waste and contributing to a cleaner, greener energy future. This approach not only reduces waste but also cuts down on greenhouse gas emissions by creating sustainable energy from what was once discarded. 💬 Do you think fish waste could play a bigger role in renewable energy? How can we integrate it into our energy systems? Let’s discuss in the comments! Stay tuned for more ways we can turn fish waste into valuable resources! 🌍♻️ #FishWaste #Biogas #Biodiesel #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #Aquaculture #CircularEconomy -

♻ 🚘 Running a car on RNG is carbon neutral! One of the important aspects of the new circular economy is that we will continue to produce and burn certain fuels; the key factor is the source. One of the products of biomass is the production of renewable natural gas (RNG) – commonly known as methane. If it is sourced from plants or animal waste resulting from the processing of organic matter, this does not increase the amount of carbon or methane in the environment, as it was captured from the environment and released back into it. Unlike fossil fuels, biomass is considered carbon neutral because the CO2 released during combustion is offset by the CO2 absorbed by plants during photosynthesis for their growth. This creates a closed carbon cycle, making biomass a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels. This is why we are seeing vehicles proudly displaying that they are powered by RNG. The team at Urbenex Bioenergy is selling RNG into the Californian market sourced from dairy cow waste – Great job, Steve Carmichael! Whenever possible, we need to support the circular economy, and part of that is to complement those businesses that are doing the right thing. It's time to use social media to support the corporate changes we want. ✅ Are you prepared to engage businesses in encouraging them to use RNG? ♻ www.projectsrh.com #PaulRaftery #ProjectsRH #CircularEconomy #RenewableNaturalGas #SustainableFuture #CarbonNeutral
