P-saico is a project developed Marialaura Rossiello Irvine based on the material and modularity concept of Sticks. It consists of 10×30 mm stick fragments – 6 mm thick – mounted on fiber glass mesh in irregular patterns to create 315×320 mm modules. The way the modules are composed and the grouting generate a contemporary version of Venetian Seminato. P-saico is a semi-artisanal product, with unique aesthetic connotations: differences in surface flatness and tone variations are intrinsic characteristics of the product and, if enhanced during installation, they enhance the exceptional aesthetics of this collection. https://lnkd.in/dJD-vuug

The doors of the Roman Pantheon stand as a testament to durability, craftsmanship, and timeless design. Made of bronze and still functional after nearly 2,000 years, they are more than just entryways—they are symbols of innovation and lasting purpose. As a monument of applied arts, the Pantheon doors reflect how thoughtful materials and meticulous construction can endure through centuries. At First Impression Ironworks, we believe entry doors serve a similar role today, embodying protection, beauty, and functionality for our own personal temples and fortresses—our homes. With advancements in alloy metallurgy and iron and steel craftsmanship, we aim to create doors that not only stand the test of time but also celebrate the artistry and purpose that inspired ancient monuments like the Pantheon. After all, a door is more than an entrance—it’s a statement of what we build to last forever.

WEEK IN A MINUTE, MOMENTS OF ETERNITY In the spirit of sustainable connection with space and nature, we recall past times when spaces like the area under the eaves (porch), often the heart of the home – created a sense of warmth and safety. In such spaces, two symbols of simplicity and connection to the environment were always present: the broom and the bench. I remember how we, as children, played on the porch while our grandmother sat, observing the surroundings or reading the newspaper. This space was inseparably linked with the nature surrounding the house, creating a sense of lasting connection with the environment – a sense of eternity. The one-minute video captures the essence of the weekly process of building a house in Slovenia. In collaboration with LUSHNA, we have transformed the concept of sustainable construction that combines tradition, innovation, and elegance. Thanks to innovative manufacturing technology, the installation includes pre-prepared installations, with panels and modules assembled on-site into a finished whole, eliminating the need for additional subcontractors. Architecture is not just space; it is also a story about connecting the interior and the exterior. In contemporary architecture, we strive to create spaces where the boundaries between the living world and nature are blurred. The house reflects this harmony with spaces that open to the outside world through panoramic windows. The front and rear facades are designed with large glass surfaces that draw natural light and the surrounding environment into the heart of the house. This integration erases the boundaries between nature and living space, creating a refuge where the beauty of the outside world becomes an indispensable part of everyday life.
