Yesterday I participated in the panel "Developing and accessing hydrogen infraestructure under the new regulatory environment" at the @European Hydrogen Week💚. Perfecty moderated by Eva Hennig, that provided a very insightful analysis of the challenges facing our industry, it was a pleasure to share the session with: Dr. Leif Kröger that explained how electrolysers can help to balance power system in a hourly basis, Gilles Bouder who put the emphasis on the seasonal flexibility provided by the H2Power solutions (fuel cells) Gilles Decan that ilustrated the commitment of the Port of Antwerp-Bruges with the development of the green molecules market. On #Moeve side, I shared our last achievements in the #AndalusianGreenHydrogenValley and highlighted the role of regulation to link power and hydrogen sectors to get the most competitive LCOH (reducing power supply costs) and to take advantage of the flexibility provided by electrolysers to maximize renewable production integration and reduce new investments in power infraestructure.💚  #EUH2Week2024 #PositiveMotion #GreenHydrogen #ValleAndaluzdelHidrogenoVerde #EnergyTransition #GreenMolecules

This week the Buildings Roundtable of the EU Clean Hydrogen Alliance met for the first time in 2024. On this occasion, EHI premiered a major deliverable of the roundtable's working programme: an interactive map showcasing over 100 European projects utilizing hydrogen for diverse building applications (coming soon 🔜)! During the meeting, two projects featured on the map were presented: 👉 One located in Pamplona, Spain, using the green hydrogen battery Vector10 produced by H2Vector to study smart grid systems to maximize energy utilisation on grid, including hydrogen as an energy vector 👉 A second one, H2Direct, located in the Bavarian village of Hohenwart, where since October 2023 ten households and a commercial establishment are heated by using pure hydrogen A fruitful exchange also took place with the Transmission & Distribution Roundtable on their new report “Learnbook: Hydrogen Imports to the EU Market" and their hydrogen infrastructure map.
