If we've spoken recently, I've probably mentioned the Arc browser and how consistently impressive the team at The Browser Company executes on the vision of making a better browser and a better internet. I use it as my default on my desktop and phone and the product innovation consistently delights. Working in Arc as a developer is kinda ideal, there are many little details (from highlighting localhost tabs as dev tabs to making the inspector and dev tools easily toggleable) that make it the best browser to work in. Now with features like this one, your dev workflow may just get supercharged.

🎆 Celebrate Responsibly! As the May long weekend approaches, many are getting ready to celebrate with fireworks. But before you do, here's a friendly reminder from the By-law Department at the Township of Lake of Bays: 🔥 Regulations: Fireworks are only permitted from dusk until 11:00 p.m. during statutory holiday weekends and Canada Day provided there is no fire ban. Check the Fire Danger Rating before discharging (currently set to MODERATE). 🐾 Pets and Wildlife: Remember, not all creatures enjoy the show. Create a calm indoor space for your furry friends and consider giving your neighbors with pets a heads up. 🦺 Safety First: When handling fireworks, safety is key. Find an open area, away from flammables, keep water nearby, and never let children handle fireworks. 🚨 Reporting: See a violation? Report it through our By-law Complaint Portal. As families and communities come together to celebrate occasions like Independence Day, it's crucial to remember that fireworks, while beautiful and exhilarating, can also be dangerous if not used properly. National Firework Safety Month aims to educate the public on best practices to prevent accidents and injuries. Key safety tips include purchasing fireworks from reliable, licensed vendors, always reading and following the instructions on the labels, and never allowing young children to handle fireworks. It's also essential to have a bucket of water or a hose nearby in case of fire, and to light fireworks one at a time, moving back quickly once they are lit. Equally important is to never relight a dud firework; instead, wait for 20 minutes and soak it in water before disposing of it properly. Additionally, respecting local laws and ordinances regarding fireworks can help ensure everyone enjoys a safe and memorable celebration. By spreading awareness and practicing caution, National Firework Safety Month encourages everyone to enjoy the festive light shows responsibly, ensuring that the excitement of fireworks is accompanied by a commitment to safety for all! 🎆 🎇

Celebrate Independence Day safely! Fireworks bring explosive color and fun to July 4th parties, but before you light up your backyard, make sure to follow these safety steps: 1. Prepare Your Safety Equipment: Ensure your fire extinguishers and hoses are in good condition and easily accessible. This ensures you can swiftly extinguish any fires that may start. 2. Assess Potential Risks: Think about where debris might fall and how wind could affect your fireworks. Pick a safe, open spot away from buildings, dry grass, and trees. 3. Proper Disposal: After the show, soak used fireworks in water to fully extinguish them before disposal. This simple step prevents accidental fires. Let's make this 4th of July both memorable and safe for everyone!
