@THX Miba Battery Systems.
VIRTUAL VEHICLE is proud to be a part of MORE+ project.
💥 Our tasks are project management, as well as conducting mechanical, 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗧𝗠), 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 (𝗧𝗥), 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗧𝗥-𝗣) testing to generate calibration and validation data.
🔥 Additionally, in collaboration with Technische Universität Graz, we will, for the first time, integrate fiber-Bragg-based measurements into TR and TR-P testing.
🔋 Another crucial task is the development of a reduced, combined multi-physical battery model. This model will be used to create a multi-objective optimization framework aimed at optimizing vehicle battery systems in terms of both cost and safety, with a particular focus on TR-P.
A project meeting for the MORE+ project took place at the VOLTFACTORY#01 in Bad Leonfelden. Representatives from Virtual Vehicle Research GmbH, MAGNA Powertrain / Engineering Center Steyr GmbH & Co KG, Technische Universität Graz and Miba Battery Systems met to discuss the ongoing efforts in low and high fidelity modeling of lithium-ion battery systems. The models being developed include mechanical, thermoelectric and thermal runaway aspects. This session focused on the validation of these models using prototypes equipped with specialized sensors for validation purposes.
Thanks to FFG Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft mbH for funding this project.
