This morning's Soldier of the Month Board showcased exceptional performance. Each Soldier who entered my board demonstrated excellent skills and dedication. While I have many items in my kitbag to incentivize high performance, e.g., aligning incentives with goals and fostering a supportive and collaborative climate, I always appreciate the power of offering recognition. Recognition is not just a formality. It's a powerful way to show how much I value and appreciate my team's achievements. It serves as a strong motivator, reinforcing their positive behaviors and attitudes, and it's crucial to continue this practice to motivate them to continue their outstanding work 👌. Whether it's public recognition, an award presentation, or a seemingly insignificant gesture that could be a significant life hack for an individual, like parking in the Command Sergeant Major's courtesy parking space 🚗 for 30 days, these small wins are not to be underestimated. They have the potential to significantly impact our organization's performance, reinforcing the idea that every effort, no matter how small, contributes to our success. So, what do you do in your organization to incentivize high performance outside of recognition 🤔?

Morning Northmen, If you see SPC Nolasco (A/92), please congratulate him on his remarkable achievement of being the Northmen's July Soldier of the Month. His victory in this hard-fought battle is a testament to his dedication and skill, and it should inspire us all. SPC Nolasco's victory not only earns him bragging rights for the next month, but also a significant recognition in the form of an Army Achievement Medal, which he will be formally awarded at August's Ragnarök. He will also enjoy the privilege of the CSM parking spot for the next month. #Northmen
