Let this video be your reminder that you are NOT stuck with the way you sound.
You can change the way you speak. You can change your voice. Your voice is just a series of behaviors.
And your behaviors can be changed.
Don't be so attached to who you are in the present that you don't give the future version of you a chance.

If you grew up in a different part of the world, would you sound the way you do?
I love this message from Vinh Giang
As you look forward to 2025, what habits will you leave behind to allow your future self to show up?
This morning, I was listening to the book Be Your Future Self Now by Benjamin Hardy, PhD, and I was inspired to think about who I want to be today.
Who do I want to be as a speaker?
Who do I want to be as an entrepreneur?
Who do I want to be as a dancer?
Who do I want to be as a partner?
Then my next question is, how can I show up today as that person?
What do I need to let go of to be my future self today?

Transitioning from the military to a new career or position is a significant step, and one of the most powerful tools at your disposal is the way you communicate. After over 20 years in the Army, I understand that the language and tone we use can shape how we're perceived and how effectively we connect with others.
To succeed in a new environment, it's crucial to adapt our communication style—whether in writing, conversations, or interviews. By making this adjustment, we can not only showcase our skills but also build stronger relationships and thrive in our next chapter. Embrace the change, refine your approach, and keep pushing forward. Your success depends on your ability to evolve, and your experience has already equipped you to do just that.

Love this! Did you know there’s also a fascinating connection between singing and public speaking? Singing can help develop vocal projection, articulation, and even confidence—essential skills for effective communication. I love discovering how these practices also intersect.

Being 💜 -> Doing ✅ -> Saying 🗣️ -> Having 🎯
💜 who we are (#mindset) determines what we do.
✅ what we do (#virtues) has real impact, more than what we say.
🗣️ what we say (#values) can reinforce but not replace who we are and what we do.
🎯 results are simply the #outcome, thwy ake time ⏳, effort 🏋🏼♀️ , and consistency ♻️.

Self-Defeating Narratives Escape
When we convince ourselves of a self-defeating story, we unconsciously gather 'evidence' to support it. If you feel 'not enough,' you’ll attract people and situations that confirm that feeling, shaping your identity around it. Break free from these limiting narratives and start seeing yourself in a new light. 🌟
