When telling stories - you shouldn't have to design everything ground up with shapes, text and countless hours of formatting. That's why we built Widgets - pre-designed, interactive components that are your building blocks on Chronicle. We designed Widgets to help you with anything - 📱 Mockups to package any image into beautiful devices or social media mockups. 👩🏻💻 Embeds to open a window into any part of the web. Bring in outputs from 1000s of tools you use everyday - YouTube, Spotify, Typeform, Cal.com, Inc. Figma - you name it - just paste an embed and its there. 📝 Stickies to write your rough thoughts. Turn it into any other widget in a click! 📷 Polaroids to show pictures and memories. Widgets bring some fun back to storytelling. 🪪 Cards to beautifully outline supporting points and many more (tables, charts, graphs, text, quotes, logo and people mentions) Each widget is interactive. e.g. click on embeds to peek inside or click on images to zoom in beautifully. There is depth to every widget. Widgets are customisable. You can simply customise properties like colour or resize the widget. It will always look and feel perfect. Any widget can be turned into any other widget in a click. You can cycle through many ways to visualise your content without having to do any design. Using widgets has saved hours for teams that use Chronicle while enabling them to create top 1% outputs as if designed by an expert. The thinking on widgets has really shaped up over the last 3 years. We took the time to consider what the building blocks of world class presentations should be. From first principles. Constructing slides from shapes, icons and arrows with endless formatting options seems absurd once you’ve tried widgets in Chronicle. Less design means more time to land your message.
