After a long break, we welcomed back the Java User Group on September 11, 2024, at our headquarters in Karlsruhe. Approximately 35 Java developers from the surrounding area attended the event, where our colleague Jens Happe presented a talk on the topic "Server, Global Reach: Running a Worldwide Marketplace on Bare Metal in a Cloud-Dominated World." After a lively discussion and Q&A session, there was plenty of time to enjoy the evening with pizza and drinks for networking and exchanging ideas. We thank all participants, both internal and external, for a wonderful and interesting evening, and we are already looking forward to the next time. #javausergroup #softwaredevelopment #karlsruhe #workatchrono24 #networking #jug
