Japanese Giants… A localized war that led to a global journey… changing an industry forever. Part 4 the Honda NSX the earlier models were intended by Honda to be exotic hand built sports cars, aimed at being better then the Ferrari V8’s. Focus on ultra light weight chassis and construction with these Japanese Giants. The 1992 Honda NSX was equipped with a 3.0L V6 Naturally aspirated engine pumping out 270 HP attached to it a 5 speed gearbox. The NSX topped out around 163mph and the very first prototype was tested by formula one legend Aryton Senna, in which Honda quickly upgraded the suspension and handling of the car. Ergo jump forward to 1999 and the Honda NSX-R with a 6 speed gearbox and a now more powerful 3.2L V6 DOHC 4 valve per cylinder again still naturally aspirated but producing 290HP and around 224 ft lbs. of torque. It also featured an all aluminum engine, ultra light weight chassis, and would turn around 8,000RPM. Much like the Mazda RX-7 the Honda NSX was an ultimate engineering marvel and featured impressive numbers however simply never really made much of an impact in the Skyline GT-R vs. Toyota Supra battle for supremacy. Another HUGE difference from all the others afore mentioned is the price tag $$$ with an average price of over $100,000. We now have information announcing the date of the appearance of the new supercar, an alternative to the Lamborghini Huracan, which will come off the production lines to join the Aventador, which was replaced by the 2024 Lamborghini Revoleto. Lamborghini Huracan cars will continue to be sold for approximately 12 months from now, although production will not end until later this year. The Huracan STJ, which was introduced last month, represents the latest version of the Italian supercar. The Volkswagen Group's latest model to be based on a naturally aspirated V10 engine after the Audi R8 leaves the production lines. The new supercar, an alternative to the Lamborghini Huracan, will be shown for the first time in the second half of 2024. The Huracan replacement will be shown for the first time next August, God willing, and it will be based on a mechanical system that combines the work of a V8 engine with hybrid technology. Instead of borrowing it from other brands of the Volkswagen group such as Porsche or Audi, the eight-cylinder engine is developed by Lamborghini. #Anis_Maaouia

Is it as fun as a manual, not really. However, because 2nd gear can take you from about 20 mph to about 70 mph, on a twisty road, you can easily keep up with the manual transmission cars.
