A focus on chemical engineering ensures the industry of tomorrow will grows and prosper!
CPCA welcomed Post-graduate students from McGill University and Université de Sherbrooke to present Research Posters at the Conference. The innovative research in chemical engineering is always of great interest to those attending. Attendees engaged with presenters at their leisure throughout the conference to gain insight on such matters as the latest biobased thermosets, polymers, and copper surfaces for industrial applications and more. These brilliant students are doing research that will help the CASE industry innovate for the future and will hopefully be among CPCA members as well. The students are: Masa AlRefai, Ph.D Student McGill University Chemical Engineering Engineering a Greener Future: Self-healing Biobased Polymer Networks Fahad Asempour, MA.Sc and Ph.D Candidate McGill University in Chemical Engineering Biobased Recyclable Smart Thermosets Jashanpreet kaur, Third Year Ph.D student McGill University Chemical Engineering Surface medication of Copper surface for industrial applications Mary Hnatyshyn, Second Year Masters McGill University Chemical Engineering Biobased Virimer Networks via Boronic Acid Crosslinking Weiguang Qiu, Ph.D Student Sherbrooke University Chemical Engineering Polymeric Coatings and Emulsion Polymers #academicresearch #coatingsscience #chemicalengineering #futureofcoatings

This event is scheduled for 4pm today. With the advent of AI, disruptions are expected in the work place. While the quality of life may improve with AI, low end white collar jobs will also vanish. This could especially affect (chemical) and other engineers who currently work in the IT sector doing repetitive type of work. In view of this, it is important to produce better quality engineers who are good and confident in their core areas, which can also result in strengthening of the core sectors. For engineers, modelling and simulation is an area that is at the interface of their core sector and IT, and it could be a safe bet against the expected disruptions. Today's session on DWSIM is an important one for chemical engineers. Please register and join in large numbers.
FOSSEE, IIT Bombay, welcomes the Faculty Members from the Chemical Engineering Department for a 'Meet & Greet' Session on DWSIM. DWSIM is a Chemical Process Simulator having application in the field of Chemical Engineering. Please register yourselves by filling the form available at https://lnkd.in/d7ueu_Dp #chemicalEngineering #dwsim #interactiveSession
