Magnetism of High Power Systems is measured by voltage transformers and current transformers. Magnetism moves very fast - close to the speed of light a voltage change can be detected at long distances. For 3 phase - Voltage and current waves moves towards the “load” side and the residuals of magnetic reactions return. Normally - the 1/2 waves are spaced by 8.33 ms and 10 ms for 60 & 50 Hz respectfully. As load increases the waves extend. X/R ratio of the circuit determines the extension

Not being familiar with EV solutions - this post is speculative. q v is magnetic reaction of voltage in the quadrature axis q d is magnetic reaction of voltage in the direct axis q dv is the byproduct of quadrature and direct axis of voltage One revolution of reaction of lagging power factor 0.5, 0.8 and Unity 1.0 is modeled. Unity the system is in sychronous mode and voltage is fixed. Voltage and current are in phase and both direct ans quadurature magnetic reactions are fixed. Generating source and load source are locked in sychronous mode as stated. This is the most efficient mode of operations
