From my last poll, 63% of people received internal management training, which I love. It's cost efficient, can happen anytime and effort is seen directly from colleagues. However, I do also see a time and place for external training. The team at Theo James Recruitment Ltd have benefitted massively from Trevor Pinder workshops. 14% of people that responded, had no training at all. 😱 Let's share some good experiences from external providers. #training #managementtraining

A great VAT session delivered by Colin Scates this week for the Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust team. It served as a refresher to school business managers focusing on the importance of ensuring the correct VAT treatment was applied to common activities, and the impact this has on VAT recovery and implications for the apportionment of VAT incurred on costs; partial exemption calculations; and potential risks in relation to capital works which can be significant in terms of values. #AcademiesVAT #ThirdSector #Training #VAT

If you don’t pay the Levy, then it is 95% funded by the government (as long as you are in England), so it costs only £700. Yes, £700 for a two year senior leaders programme. “I used to think I had to have all the answers, now I know we will achieve more if I focus on asking the right questions. I was comfortable mentoring, now I’m happier as a coach.
