As my three-year term as Chair of CIPR International Group comes to an end, I would like to thank all of our committee members for their dedication and commitment to fostering excellence in the PR industry at global level. Special thanks to Eva Maclaine FCIPR, Found Chart PR for all her valuable support and advice, and to Professor Anne Gregory for her wise counsel and pathbreaking contributions, asking us "Are humans still needed?" Thankfully they are still very much still needed in the international PR industry! I would like to warmly thank former Chairs and Vice Chairs Shirley Collyer, Andras Sztaniszlav and Crispin Thorold for all their support in recent years, as well as all of our 2024 committee members for bringing their enthusiasm, experience and ideas: Emma Duke Steven Smith (SCMP® and Chart.PR) Nooralhuda Aljlas Richard Rose MCIPR Evalyne Awuor, Accredited CIPR Practitioner Kate Hughes Claire Benson / SDG Changemakers Alessandra Plichero Samuel Osei MCIPR, APR Stuart Bruce Stuart Graham Klao Bell-Lewis PMP, Chart.PR Olayinka E. Ferdinand L. Bondoy Simon Corbett Derek Chung Mabel Adeteye Izabela Hamilton Ọmọ́tọ́lá Akíndípẹ̀ MCIPR Anjali Patil Thanzyl Thajudeen. As we look ahead to 2025, I would like to wish all the very best to my successor Taazima Kala as the incoming Chair, Saad Alrubaian (Chart. PR, MCIPR) سعد الربيعان as incoming Vice Chair, and Nishika Bajaj continuing as Secretary, who are an outstanding team of professionals who will surely take the committee from strength to strength in the future. I look forward to continuing to participate in the committee's work with a particular focus on continuing to build our network in Mauritius (where we have 14 new members in the last 2 weeks!) and across the African continent. Wishing everyone at CIPR International Group a happy and prosperous New Year! 🎉 Chartered Institute of Public Relations
