CIRM (Comité International Radio-Maritime)’s Post

CIRM and IALA have updated their long-standing Co-operation Agreement! During the recent CIRM Annual Conference in Busan, IALA Secretary-General (Francis Zachariae) and CIRM Secretary-General (Richard Doherty) signed an updated Co-operation Agreement on behalf of their respective organisations. The document emphasises the importance of collaboration between IALA and CIRM (Comité International Radio-Maritime) and identifies specific areas of mutual technical interest. The agreement has been updated as a consequence of IALA's transition from NGO to IGO, and it ensures that the two organisations will continue to work together in the interests of effective standardisation, supporting the needs of the seafarer and the saftey of life at sea.
