By creating an eco-friendly e-commerce platform, that leverages Digital Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain to reduce environmental impacts. GreenCart is an eco-friendly Ecosystem that aims to connect the eco-friendly goods manufacturers and consumers, waste management and recycling companies , digital payments and smart delivery and logistics stakeholders. The gist of the whole idea is adopted from the coca-cola company beverage bottles, "rarely found anywhere!, because they are valuable, you need that empty bottle to buy a drink otherwise it will cost more or double. " What if this applies to every goods, then we don't get to see empty bottles littered everywhere. implementation of AI in sentiment analysis, demand focusting and and personal recommendation of the ecommerce platform will improve efficiency and convince on buying and selling goods. For payments, Blockchain Technology capabilities can be employed for secure payments . Deliveries to be optimized to reduce resource consumption and reduce emissions...... To get the market, we intently to Incentivize Sustainable Consumption: Encourage the purchase, use, and reuse of eco-friendly products. Provide Awareness on environmental impacts. Foster an Eco-Friendly Ecosystem: Connect manufacturers, consumers, and logistics providers committed to sustainability. Promote Circular Economy Practices: Support the production and consumption of biodegradable, reusable, and recyclable goods. Numerous technologies have been developed to enhance farming productivity and improve crop quality, ultimately leading to lower consumer prices and increased income for farmers. However, the challenge lies not in the technology itself, but rather in the social conditions often overlooked during implementation by system developers, which have historically hindered the success of technological innovations. Enter Padigital's Web 3.0 Blockchain food security system. This revolutionary system has undergone rigorous development, including a three-year Proof of Concept (POC) conducted in the field. Unlike conventional approaches, Padigital's system addresses critical social, cultural, and community security aspects, ensuring comprehensive solutions for sustainable agriculture. With Padigital's innovative platform, stakeholders benefit from a seamlessly integrated offline production, logistics, and distribution process on a large scale. By prioritizing inclusivity and addressing societal nuances, Padigital paves the way for widespread adoption of technology in agriculture, ushering in a new era of prosperity for all involved.

Digitisation is a transformative factor for establishing sustainable supply chains in the least developed countries (LDCs). By using technology such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and Internet of Things (IoT), these countries can: Optimise productivity Minimise waste Promote transparency Real world example from like Bhutan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Nepal, Rwanda, Timor-Leste and Vanuatu illustrate how incremental measures in digitalisation can result in substantial advantages for small enterprises and farmers. Nevertheless, it is imperative that new digital technologies are fully inclusive, thereby guaranteeing that everyone, particularly the offline population, reaps the advantages. ”Sitra has been supporting companies through the upcoming change by funding DPP experimentsand the lessons learned have now been compiled in a working paper.” The paper covers three cases: ”In a battery DPP trial with Nordic machine manufacturers Sandvik and Kalmar, a battery DPP was developed for batteries used in machinery in ports and mines. The trial tested how the data provided by the DPP can help industrial operators calculate and reduce emissions. ” ”A joint pilot between steel company SSAB, food company Orkla and consultancy PBI Research Institute tested the measurement, exchange and storage of emissions data from the transport chain. Imagine running a business where paperwork and endless trips to government offices eat up precious time and resources. This is a reality for many in LDCs, where traditional methods still dominate. But digitalization is turning the tide, creating more efficient, transparent, and sustainable supply chains. Whether it's Vanuatu reducing CO2 emissions by 5,827 kgs through digitalized bio-security certifications or Bhutan cutting potato auction waiting times from four days to four hours, these real-world examples showcase the power of digital transformation. Key Takeaways: 1. Efficiency Gains: Digitalizing border procedures can save between 32kgs and 86kgs of CO2 per transaction, equivalent to planting millions of trees. 2. Cost Reduction: In Timor-Leste, a 90% decrease in physical trips between agencies has been observed, thanks to an Electronic Single Window. 3.
