In a world of employee protests and shareholder activism, what are the boundaries of an organization? In a new journal article, Luke Capizzo, Ph.D., APR and I explain the complexity of organizations with the metaphor of a tent. We explain why this complexity needs to be reflected in public relations theory, and how doing so will make theory more applicable to public relations professionals.
