Finding purpose in your job/career is important. If you don't connect what you do everyday to a bigger purpose then you will find yourself just going through the motions waiting for better days. My dad was a truck driver when I was little. It helped him fund his dream of becoming a pilot. When I was 3 years old, he was in a truck accident, had damage to his brain and was declared brain dead. Shortly after that, he died. He never had the opportunity to live out his dream of flying. Today, working at a company like Drivio who provides driver training with the mission of making South African roads safer, it becomes personal to me. What we do matters. It is important. It’s #WorldEV day today! My personal philosophy with EVs: I live in big cities being London and partially Hamburg in the main. I believe in light electric vehicles which I can also park and handle easily in traffic laden cities. That’s why I believe in decarbonised small and affordable solutions like the CityQ - Downsizing a car into a tech ebike or the AKINSI vehicle which you can see here being currently driven by the family in Hamburg… 15 k euros for a small vehicle that fulfills all the basics and much more in an urban environment with more than 250 km range…
