While Dan & I were on our Door County trip, we visited several wineries, breweries & restaurants. One of our favorites 🏆 was Hill Street in Fish Creek. ❤️ The cocktails, the food & the vibe were all so AMAZING at Hill Street, but what I loved most was the culture. 🥰 I always say that culture is something that doesn't just happen. It's your company's values & beliefs manifested in the behavior of everyone at your organization. And WOW, does Hill Street have a great culture. ☺️ The bartenders were kind & enthusiastic. They were patient with every person that asked them a question. They had fun & made sure everyone else around them was having a good time, too. 🎉🎉🎉 This might not seem like a big deal. They're selling a product. Of course they need to be nice to the people who are buying it, right? 🤔 Yes, but there was something different 💡 about Hill Street. You could tell that the owners & the employees trusted one another. They communicated with one another. They had autonomy & agency. All I'll say is that it made what they were selling taste even better to me. 🍔 🍹When you're able to live your culture in such an obvious way, you bring everyone into your orbit.
