Converting to electric from natural gas when majority if our power comes from burning natural gas is a fools game. Support SMR for long term gain and in short term utilize clean burning natural gas.

We're excited to share that round 3 of the EV destination charging grants is now open and accepting applications.   This $12 million funding round has some significant changes to previous rounds and will co-fund private EV charge point operators (CPOs) who can install, own and operate low powered direct current (DC) public EV chargers across regional NSW.   This infrastructure will help supplement the existing growing network of slower AC destination chargers (with over 1,300 AC charge ports funded under the program to date) as well as ultra-fast charging stations currently being rolled out across NSW.   The funding round has been designed to close the EV charging infrastructure gaps on existing Visit NSW road trips that are not yet EV friendly, as we work to make NSW the easiest place to own and operate an EV in Australia. New Funding to Make Multi-Family Buildings EV-Ready ⚡️🚘 The Atmospheric Fund (TAF) has announced a new round of funding for installing EV Charger Infrastructure in condos and other multi-residential settings, focusing on (but not limited to) the following regions: Clarington Scugog Uxbridge Georgina Whitchurch-Stouffville Halton Hills Oshawa Hamilton Richmond Hill Caledon East Gwillimbury Newmarket Vaughan Buildings will need to have ZEVIP-subsidized EV chargers installed in at least 25% of their parking spaces. The funding covers up to 50% of total project costs up to $5M over multiple buildings. The application deadline for ZEVIP funding is September 19. California’s transition to 100 percent zero-emission new vehicle sales by 2035 will require the substantial expansion of convenient and reliable electric vehicle (EV) charging options for all citizens. City governments will play a central role in broadening the state’s charging network to ensure that residents in underserved communities can fully participate in the EV transition. The curb and public right-of-way (PROW) offer a key venue for city governments to lead EV charging infrastructure development and deliver a more equitable charging network for residents. Our new policy brief provides insights from domestic and international cities that are leading efforts to bring EV charging infrastructure to the curbside and PROW. The report, developed as part of CLEE’s EV Equity Initiative, highlights key challenges to the expansion of publicly accessible EV charging and offers recommendations to guide local leaders in ensuring equity and effectiveness in program design.
