Being leadership you should listen, observe and act with respect towards who you are leading. You should always encourage and support your teammates aspirations. Teaching and being taught are a normal part of leadership. You will never know everything and should never feel intimidated being taught by someone with a lesser title than you. A title doesn’t make you the most knowledgeable. It strictly means you should always uplift and learn from those who have great knowledge on your team. It is a blessing and should be celebrated not seen as a competition. A toxic work environment starts when leadership feels the need to compete or belittle others for power or gratification.

Leaders get the best from their team when they: Call people up, not out Build people up, not break them down Lead with purpose and belief Fight for people not against them Are positive, not negative Leaders set the tone.
