Happy Presidents’ Day! We hope that you have the opportunity to take some time away from your business today. After all, that’s why this day was created. In 1971, Presidents’ Day moved to the third Monday of the month in an effort to create more three-day weekends for the public in the hope that this would inspire greater productivity nationwide. So don’t feel guilty taking the day off to rest and relax and enjoy something you like to do. You might just find that your productivity and enthusiasm increase as a result. How are you enjoying this Presidents’ Day? Share with us below in the comments. #PresidentsDay #R&R #Productivity

A New Holiday: St.Patrick's Eve! Remember the year St. Patrick's Day fell on a Tuesday? Jameson does, and they're not letting it happen again! Enter St. Patrick's Eve, a brand-new holiday invented by the whiskey giant to ensure the party doesn't suffer just because the calendar says "Sunday." This isn't just a random date change. It's a bold marketing move fuelled by consumer insights. By offering a "work-friendly" alternative on the Saturday before (March 16th), Jameson aims to: Boost sales that might be dampened by the Sunday holiday. Create a unique and engaging campaign that captures attention. How are they doing it? Buckle up, it's a multi-city, celebrity-filled extravaganza! 1. Times Square Ball Drop, Jameson Style: Forget New Year's Eve, this year the ball drops for St. Patrick's Eve! Hosted by SNL's comedy power duo Jost & Che, this first-of-its-kind activation is sure to grab headlines (and Instagrammers). 2. Party Across the States: The fun doesn't stop in New York. Jameson is bringing the St. Patrick's Eve spirit to Las Vegas, Chicago, and Los Angeles, ensuring nationwide celebration and diverse audience engagement. 3. Laughter is the Best Medicine (and Marketing): Forget the "work-free Monday" blues! Hilarious digital videos starring Jost & Che bring the campaign to life with relatable scenarios and infectious humor, perfectly capturing Jameson's lighthearted brand personality. 4. More Than Just a Party: From limited-edition St. Patrick's Eve jackets to partnerships with entertainment venues, Jameson is creating tangible experiences that extend the reach and encourage participation. All proceeds from the jacket benefit the Restaurant Workers' Community Fund, adding a positive social impact to the mix. Marketing Masterstroke or Risky Gamble? Only time will tell how successful Jameson's St. Patrick's Eve will be. But one thing's for sure: they've started a conversation and pushed the boundaries of what a brand can do to drive engagement. #marketinginnovation #StPatricksEve #brandbuilding #causemarketing #TimesSquareBallDrop #FirstOfItsKind #JostandChe #disruptivemarketing #DigitalMarketing

As Hospitality leaders, our seasonal marketing strategies obviously include; Christmas, Valentine’s, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day… but, do you also hook onto events and other things happening in your local area? For example; at our hotel in Chester, we hosted race day brunches and other offers and we even got creative and jumped onto the Bridgerton trend by hosting a hugely successful Bridgerton-themed afternoon tea... So, in this week's blog, we ask; How can you get creative? What can you hook onto that is already happening, popular or trending? How can you stand out? Stretched too thin? Here is how my Thursday went last week: 6:00am 7km 'tempo run' (Honestly the worst part of my day) 8:00am. Prep some copy for filming and board preso 10:00am. Filming at Auckland Business Chamber for the awards evening videos 11:00am. Present a three year brand strategy to the board at Goodfood Group 4:00pm. Check-in at TMC "Unlocking Media for Marketers event" and make sure the Hell Pizza turned up on time, seeing as I'd promised it would be there. (Thanks Queenie Qin!) 6:00pm. Dial in to the Hell Pizza consumer research group remotely with a glass of rose 8:30pm. Steph time That was on top of two preceding nights of research groups, and your bog-standard working week. There have been times where I've had days like this, and it's been an absolute nightmare of stress. Weirdly Thursday went smoothly and I got to all my locations on time. I think this is the beauty of working and doing something you love, instead of hanging on for dear life because someone is paying you a salary or wage just to turn up every day. Either that or the planets were in fantastic alignment. 💫 **pictured: Javier Yebenes⚡and I getting the sponsored product shot**

Happy Sunday! 💖 We wanted to take a moment and share some of our incredible team members here at Pink Lily! Let’s kick-off today’s #StaffSpotlight by introducing you to Ainsley! 💖 Pink Lily: What do you do here at Pink Lily? ✨ Ainsley: I do the website merchandising, which basically means I change out the marketing assets and launch all the new products and ensure they’re in the correct place(s) on the site. 💖 Pink Lily: What is your favorite aspect of working at Pink Lily? ✨ Ainsley: I think my favorite part is seeing how so many things–big and small–add up to such an impressive and fun brand. There is so much that goes into making Pink Lily what it is and it’s exciting to be part of the complexity of it all. 💖 Pink Lily: When you're not at work, what do you enjoy doing? ✨ Ainsley: I spend most of my spare time reading and traveling. I have a goal to travel somewhere new each year, and this year's new spot will be Greece! 💖 Pink Lily: What piece of advice would you share with someone aspiring to have your role? ✨ Ainsley: A willingness to learn and problem solve can expand your skill set immensely, so take the time to understand more than the basics, be receptive to feedback, and remember that every seemingly insignificant thing still has a purpose in the big picture. 💖 Pink Lily: Favorite vacation spot? ✨ Ainsley: Anything that involves lots of sunshine and puts me near water. 💖 Pink Lily: Favorite food? ✨ Ainsley: Mediterranean food is probably my favorite type of cuisine, but if you told me I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be peanut butter. We’re so thankful to have Ainsley here at Pink Lily! #MeetOurTeam #SundaySpotlight #PLSelfLove #EmployeeSpotlight #EmployeeAppreciation
