For those not following the truly innovative decarbonization strategy in Ann Arbor, read more about the Sustainable Energy Utility they just voted to create. The SEU sets in motion steps towards full scale adoption of DERs in a place where grid outages are rampant and electricity costs have risen dramatically. Love to see it!

Sustainability and Innovations Director at City of Ann Arbor

As we look for hope (and understanding) this morning, I’m delighted to share some good local news. With nearly 80% of Ann Arbor voter support, Ann Arbor will be moving forward with creation of a new Sustainale Energy Utility. We’ve got a lot of work ahead of us but we’ve got the public’s blessing to run at the deployment of a reliable, resilient, clean, and affordable energy future for anyone and everyone interested in the community. The next 18-24 months are going to be intense but the future is worth it! Thank you to everyone that had a hand in creating this vision. And now we bring vision to reality! https://lnkd.in/d-YRqgn2
