We all have a part to play—big or small—in creating a better society that cares for both people and the environment. I truly believe The Walters Method (TWM) is a toolkit for our times. It is more than just a mental well-being approach; it's about liberation—freeing our minds from constraints so we can be the change we want to see. Here’s why I’m so passionate about it... ✨ TWM offers a fresh perspective on releasing what holds us back and finding real purpose. It’s unlike traditional methods and brings new, powerful techniques to the table. 💡 It goes beyond clarity in the moment—TWM helps heal past trauma, resulting in profound shifts in how we think and feel. ⚡ In times of emotional distress or doubt, TWM offers immediate release. It’s been invaluable for me during moments of crisis and emotional upheaval. 🛠️ TWM empowers us with practical tools to take control of our mental wellbeing and stay on track, giving us the courage and certainty to make real change. Once we free our minds, we can focus on what truly matters. I'd love to speak to businesses looking to improve workplace wellbeing and through that, boosting engagement, productivity and retention. Let's make yours a workplace where people love to work 💚 #Mentalhealth #Personalgrowth #Wellbeing

MY 2 GREAT PASSIONS! There are 2 issues I’m especially passionate about and 2 workplace problems I’m dedicated to overcoming: · How to safeguard mental wellbeing in work. Problem: a lot of training misses the mark because it focusses on increasing knowledge and barely touches on how to talk about mental health. Confidence to have the conversation is the biggest barrier for many managers. · How to create genuinely inclusive workplace cultures. Problem: most EDI work aims to raise staff awareness, but without fundamental changes in the organisational structures and working culture, it is largely wasted. I’ll be hosting 2 webinar sessions – The Mental Wellbeing Conversation and The Future of EDI to explore these issues and propose ways forward. If you are interested in either of these issues and would like to join the conversation, please message me and I’ll send you more information. Best wishes, Andy Marshall

Let’s talk about mental health and how we, as leaders, peers, and individuals, can prevent issues and support each other. Today, at the KLCC Human Capital Leaders Network, we gathered with our partner from #Thoughtfull to share and learn from each other's experiences. Joining us were colleagues from KLCC GHSE and GSS-Change Management, all part of a united effort to shape our future work culture ecosystem. My Key Takeaways😊 🌹Bio-Psycho-Social Harmony Mental wellness is influenced by biological, psychological, and social factors. An imbalance in any of these areas demands unique interventions and support. 🌹Communication and Trust Strengthening communication is crucial to building trust among us. 🌹Compassionate Curiosity Understanding people without making assumptions or judgments is vital. 🌹Boundaries in Wellbeing Recognizing and respecting boundaries as employers, employees, and individuals is essential in addressing wellbeing issues. It's time to fortify our wellbeing ecosystem. A huge thank you to Joan Low for guiding us through this insightful session.

Really insightful and productive past couple days getting trained to be a mental health first aider especially In today’s fast-paced, high-pressure environment, mental health is no longer something we can afford to overlook. Whether in the workplace or personal life, taking care of our mental well-being is critical to thriving, not just surviving. When we prioritize mental health, we create healthier, more productive spaces where creativity, collaboration, and innovation can truly flourish. Investing in mental health support, fostering open conversations, and promoting work-life balance aren’t just trends—they’re essential for long-term success. At Ascent Performance Group Ltd we believe that mental health is just as important as physical health, and we’re committed to fostering an environment where employees feel safe, supported, and empowered to prioritize their mental well-being.

💫 Mental Health Awareness Week 💫 During Mental Health Awareness Week, it's crucial to emphasize the impact of work culture on mental well-being. A positive work environment fosters open communication, reduces stigma around mental health issues, and promotes work-life balance. When organizations prioritize mental health, they create happier, more productive employees and stronger teams Being able to partner with clients who prioritize mental well-being is not only professionally rewarding but also personally fulfilling. It speaks volumes about the values and ethos of the company you are choosing to join. When mental health is given importance within an organization, it signifies a commitment to the holistic well-being of employees. It shows that the company values its workforce beyond just their productivity and recognizing individual needs. The value of mental well-being is immeasurable, and I hope this week provides companies and their leaders with an opportunity to pause and contemplate their efforts, as well as areas for improvement, in creating a supportive and healthy working environment for their employees.

For some, the Sunday scaries are a daily reality, not just a weekend feeling. R U OK? Day is tomorrow. It’s a powerful way to raise awareness, but businesses often turn it into just another marketing moment. Cupcakes again (always with the cupcakes), printed flyers, generic emails, and a post on social media—but what comes after? When you dig deeper, what is that business truly doing to support mental health? In some workplaces, it isn’t until someone is at their breaking point that anyone notices, and support comes too late. In other cases, employees wouldn't dream of going to their manager for help, isolating themselves and hiding their struggles. We need to build environments with real psychological safety, where people genuinely feel it’s okay not to be okay and have the support to share that. What I love about working at S/D is that I feel safe, valued, and heard every day. My weekly 1:1s offer space to talk about life beyond work, and when things aren’t okay, I know I can share that openly. R U OK? research has found an overwhelming majority (90%) of people who are regularly asked R U OK? feel more supported, connected and cared about. This Thursday 12th of September on R U OK? Day, I encourage you, as a business leader, to reflect on how your organisation is truly fostering mental wellbeing. Is psychological safety built into your culture? Can more be done to make every day a day we check in? And when we get that right, people will know it’s always okay to ask—and always okay to answer.

Today is World Mental Health Day 🌍 and this year's theme, Mental Health at Work, couldn't resonate more deeply. I have always understood mental well-being to be the foundation for productivity, creativity, and personal growth. That's why from day one, when building eeva | Home Life Management, I've been committed to building a work environment that supports and prioritizes mental health. Our flexible work policies, remote-first approach, and focus on open communication aren’t just for convenience—they’re about helping our team manage the mental load and find a real balance between life and work. ⚖ We want everyone to feel genuinely supported as individuals, not just as employees. When people have the space to take care of their mental health, they’re able to show up fully, both in their work and in their lives. Of course, we know that mental health doesn’t stop when we leave the office (or close the laptop)—it affects all areas of our lives. eeva | Home Life Management came to life because we’ve all felt the weight of the mental load at home, where the tasks and responsibilities can feel never-ending. 🤕 By recognizing how this impacts us, both in our personal lives and at work, we can start to create spaces that feel more balanced and supportive for everyone. It’s about making room for well-being, no matter where we are. 💙 #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthAtWork #MentalHealthMatters #WorkLifeBalance
