Congratulations to Clark University Geography Professor Florencia Sangermano and the ETH BiodivX team, who earned a top spot in the highly competitive $10 million XPRIZE Rainforest competition! Professor Sangermano is currently in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she accepted the award alongside several of her teammates during the G20 Brasil 2024 Summit. #ETHBiodivX, composed of 51 members from 14 countries, placed among the top four finalists, taking home the $250,000 Bonus Prize. 👏 Professor Sangermano was the only scientist from a U.S. university on the team.
