Keep it slow, steady, and sustainable! That has been our mantra at Iraaloom ® As we approach our 5-year anniversary this September, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey we've had. From the moment we started, it has been a rollercoaster of challenges, triumphs, and learning experiences. To be honest, I never imagined we’d reach this milestone. Looking back, while it’s been five years since our incorporation, operationally, I can say it truly feels like just two and a half or three years. The pandemic hit us hard, with two of those years lost to the chaos of COVID-19. But we rose from the ashes like a phoenix. The support and well-wishes we received during that time kept us going. Now, post-COVID, we're not just surviving, we're thriving. We're growing, improving, and scaling up in ways I couldn’t have predicted. And it’s all thanks to the incredible people who believed in us and supported us along the way. But behind every success story, there’s a team—an unstoppable force driving the vision forward. I’m proud to introduce the powerhouse behind Iraaloom’s success: Team Iraaloom. They are the backbone, the energy, and the creativity that fuels everything we do. Looking back on the last four decades of Advent serves as such a powerful reminder of just how far we’ve come on our journey.    I’m proud of what we have accomplished together in this time, particularly our growth in Latin America, but I also believe this is just the beginning of what’s to come.    Latin America’s economic growth trajectory is at an exciting point, and we are remarkably well positioned with our deep local sector expertise, vast network, and global reach.

😁 A September post arriving in December 📢 But if you are like me and are still tying up some lose ends you might like this. The days of the year is basically a collection of key dates within the year, celebrated widely. Keyword here is "widely". Because, depending on where you are in the world, some of these days may not apply to you. If you are in PR or marketing you know, key dates can be leveraged to engage stakeholders or boost brand visibility, but there is a finesse to this. Here are 6 things to keep in mind, when using this resource: 🔑 Join in and celebrate key dates that resonate with your stakeholders. 🔑 Ensure that what you choose to celebrate actually aligns with your core values. 🔑 Have a clear and measurable plan in place when you decide to leverage any of these key dates for business. Think, "what is the business value?" 🔑 Take into consideration the cultural appropriateness of each day you choose to celebrate in relation to your location. 🔑 Don't over-do it. For instance celebrating 20 days out of a calendar month of 30 days is overdoing it, even 10 is questionable but use your discretion. 🔑 Don't forget to weave in storytelling.
