✨🕯️ Honoring Kwanzaa and Its Principles for a Bright New Year 🕯️✨ As we celebrate Kwanzaa, we reflect on the seven principles—Nguzo Saba—that guide us toward unity, strength, and progress: 1️⃣ Umoja (Unity): Building bonds within our families and communities. 2️⃣ Kujichagulia (Self-Determination): Defining and speaking for ourselves. 3️⃣ Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility): Working together to uplift and solve challenges. 4️⃣ Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics): Supporting and building wealth within our communities. 5️⃣ Nia (Purpose): Committing to our shared mission of greatness. 6️⃣ Kuumba (Creativity): Using innovation to leave our world better than we found it. 7️⃣ Imani (Faith): Believing in ourselves, our people, and our future. As we enter the New Year, let’s carry these principles in our hearts and actions, using them as a foundation to strengthen our communities and embrace opportunities for growth. 🌟 💡 How will you embody these principles in 2025? Happy Kwanzaa! Today, we celebrate Umoja (Unity), the first principle of Kwanzaa. The time is now to unite with each other and strengthen bonds with your family and friends. The name Kwanzaa comes from the Swahili phrase matunda ya kwanza, which means "first fruits." Kwanzaa reminds us of the power of unity and the importance of working collectively to build a brighter future. #weareschreiber The seven principles are: -Umoja (unity) -Kujichagulia (self-determination) -Ujima (collective work and responsibility) -Ujamaa (cooperative economics) -Nia (purpose) -Kuumba (creativity) -Imani (faith)

The Principle of Ujima: Collective Work and Responsibility in Kwanzaa Kwanzaa, a week-long celebration from December 26 to January 1, honors African heritage and values. Central to this celebration are the Nguzo Saba, or Seven Principles, which guide the observance. The third principle, Ujima, focuses on Collective Work and Responsibility, emphasizing the importance of community, shared effort, and mutual accountability. Ujima calls for individuals to come together to build and maintain their communities. It highlights the idea that progress is a shared responsibility; no one person can solve societal challenges alone. Whether addressing issues of inequality, creating opportunities for future generations, or simply supporting neighbors in need, Ujima reminds us that the strength of the community lies in unity. In practice, Ujima means taking active roles in addressing communal issues. For example, organizing a neighborhood cleanup, mentoring young people, or supporting local businesses all reflect this principle. It's about recognizing that when one member of the community succeeds, everyone benefits, and when one struggles, it impacts everyone. This principle also encourages reflection. Are we doing enough to uplift those around us? Are we taking responsibility for our shared challenges? Ujima pushes us to not only ask these questions but to act on them. During Kwanzaa, Ujima is often celebrated through storytelling, discussions, and community projects that reinforce the interconnectedness of everyone within the community. It’s also a time to honor the legacy of ancestors who worked tirelessly to ensure a better future for their descendants. As we embrace Ujima, we commit to building a collective vision for a thriving, empowered community. It’s a principle that extends beyond Kwanzaa, offering a year-round reminder of the power of unity and shared responsibility. In the spirit of Ujima, let us all ask: How can we contribute to the well-being of our community today? Together, we can create lasting change. Habari Gani? I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received over the past six months. I have been repeatedly sent defective parts of an old TV that is not even functioning. Despite this, I have been charged Rs. 5,000, of which Rs. 2,700 was taken as an advance. Over these six months, your company has caused immense frustration not only to me but also to my family. Despite numerous calls (well over 100) from your side, there has been no proper follow-up or resolution of the issue. This lack of professionalism and customer care is unacceptable. I would like to understand why I should not pursue legal action against your company for mental harassment and fraud. You have cheated me by sending old and defective parts, all of which I have documented through video evidence. It is shocking to witness such behavior from a company of your size and reputation. If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will be left with no choice but to inform the market about the fraudulent and negligent practices of your company, which clearly does not value its customers
