🗼🇫🇷 Paris has just sent a powerful message to cities everywhere. Last Friday, the City Council approved a bold step: piloting a zero-emission delivery zone, which the Clean Cities team, along with Respire, have been advocating for. In this area, only electric vehicles and cargo bikes will be allowed to deliver goods - a big win for cleaner air and healthier streets 💪 🚛 Why this matters: delivery vehicles make up less than 20% of Paris traffic but are responsible for over 40% of NO₂ pollution, according to our recent @Clean Cities study. https://lnkd.in/eYrDcr64 💡 With this move, Paris joins 35 other European cities preparing zero-emission zones to tackle air pollution and curb greenhouse gas emissions. (More about this, here: https://lnkd.in/eD_tRVSE) 🌍 Cities worldwide are watching. Could this be the future of urban deliveries?
