Of course, it is an excellent product for the applications of our wind turbines here in Brazil Neal Fine , due to the high isoceraunic index which is as common as wind turbines, with production losses and a decrease in the profitability of the steakholders. #wind #windfarm #power #blade #DA #Distribution #SEP
Brazil Windpower, the largest wind energy event in Latin America, takes place in two weeks. If your wind farm suffers from lightning damage, stop by the Mankiewicz Coating Solutions booth (D-50) to learn about the new Alexit® BladeRep® ALP20 topcoat with ArcGuide® for enhanced lightning protection. I will be there to explain how it works and how much you can expect to save by reducing the damage caused by lightning. I look forward to seeing old friends and making some new ones! #windenergy #lightningprotection

The World’s Largest #WindFarm has a Tiny Problem. It’s difficult to conceptualise the scale of #windturbines. Just one #gigawatt is enough energy to power between 750,000 to a million US homes. Here in the #UnitedStates, our largest wind farm is the Alta Wind Energy Center in #California, which has been able to produce 1.5GW. But even the Alta facility is dwarfed by the Gansu Wind Farm in #China: a 20 GW colossus and the biggest wind farm in the world. So how did it become home to the world’s biggest wind farm? Can we replicate this achievement elsewhere? And most importantly, why is a wind farm large enough to power an entire country sitting mostly idle? 🔻🔻🔻 Click/tap image below to view video on YouTube 🔻🔻🔻

Wind turbines have increased in size as bigger blades are just much more efficient at capturing energy than smaller ones! Taller wind turbines are also able to capture the wind higher up where it blows faster. Offshore is even better because the wind speed is lower onshore.
https://lnkd.in/ez8aRj-f Can someone explain to the Telegraph how higher hub heights = more wind 💨 = fewer turbines required. And cheaper, more reliable and fewer costs to consumers. I’d have thought they might care about some of the above

So the cut down t he things that consume CO2 emissions to build machines that produce electricity at a near zero CO2 emissions - that is until you factor on the CO2 produced by the manufacturing of those wind turbines. The net CO2 production is net foolish, forced by the climatologists.

Wind farms are expanding around the world, part of the renewable energy and they are competing with birds. Migratory birds (20% of all bird species) are especially at risk. Oil-gas drilling has a worse impact on bird numbers than wind farms. https://lnkd.in/gx9w8U-A

"Despite the high wind, frozen turbines were discovered to rotate substantially slower and even shut down from time to time, resulting in up to 80% of icing-induced turbine power losses during the icing event." https://lnkd.in/eFwpaXtc If your wind farm is effected by icing events, you're probably experiencing a reduction in energy production or worse -- unexpected shutdowns. Comprehensive ice detection and mitigation is essential for consistent production and reducing safety risks related to ice throw. The BorealisWind ice protection system can help -- find out how: https://lnkd.in/e4SzsxZ5 #Windsider #turbineblades #turbineicing #windenergy

A plan to create a wind farm, is not a wind farm.
This is not a wind farm
