Have you ever wondered how contactless heart-rate measurement is possible? Our team has developed a project using computer vision and Eulerian Magnification to obtain a person's heart-rate. Originally developed by MIT, we added face detection to the mix for better accuracy. By isolating the person's face with YOLOv8/v7 and amplifying micro-movements in the red and green spectrum, we can obtain systolic and diastolic signals for charting the heart-rate.
