🌞 Sap on Your Door? Here’s How We Handled It! 🚪🛠️ We recently worked on a project with a newer black, south-facing back door—perfect setup for sap to start oozing out due to the heat. 🌡️ The sun heats the door, causing the sap (also known as pitch) to seep out, which had been happening for a while. We scraped off the sap, wiped it down with mineral spirits to remove any residue, sanded the area smooth, and then repainted. The homeowner mentioned the sap has stopped coming out, but sometimes this can keep happening for years. It’s just how the wood behaves—especially with black doors in direct sunlight! 🌞 What do you think? Ever dealt with this issue on your doors or trim? Creating Empty Handling Units #SAP Logistics — General (LO) To be able to pack materials, you must first create an empty handling unit. In a second step, you can then assign materials to this handling unit; the materials are then packed. 1. In the packing dialog , select the Pack material or Pack HUs tab. 2. In the All existing HUs (available for packing) section, enter an allowed packaging material into the Pack. matl field (see also Displaying allowed packaging materials ).
