Do your readers actually like you?
I know, you share valuable tips.
Who doesn't want sweet, free knowledge?
But chances are, you’re also interesting.
Cool, even.
So write the unique, goofy words you say in everyday life.
Take my Nana for example.
Most people might say, “I had the strangest thing happen today.”
My Nana says, “I had the most bizarre episode today.”
She uses those exact words so often, I think of her every time I hear them.
If you say it, write it.
But be mindful of placement.
Ask yourself: “Does the word weaken the clarity?”
What unique words do you say offline?
Tell me in the comments.
Thanks for PERUSING.
PS: If you have a Nana (not a mere grandma), please follow me.
I'm only taking Nana-people today.

I watched a podcast with Sahil Bloom and Chris Vasquez yesterday and learned what business, content & life is truly about. Here are some of the main insights:
Overall, they covered a lot of ground, including the usual online recommendations we see every day.
But they went deeper—straight to the core of what the game of (online) business and life is truly about.
Questions I've been grappling with were addressed, a lot clicked, and I know how to approach the questions challenging me now.
Here’s what stuck:
What’s the primary(!) goal in business, being a creator, or even life?
❌ It’s not finding your niche.
❌ It’s not consistency.
❌ It’s not the perfect funnel.
❌ It’s not building a big following or a "brand."
❌ It’s not even about monetization.
So, what is it?
It’s trust. Trust in yourself and trust from others. Ok, we’ve all heard that before. Let’s dig deeper.
What is trust, really?
Trust comes from the Latin word fides, meaning "faith" or "reliability." But here, trust is more than that.
It’s not just about consistency or skill.
It’s about being real. It’s the unwavering confidence that others have in your integrity.
How do you build trust?
Authenticity? Sure, we’ve all heard that before too, but let’s dig deeper.
Being authentic isn’t about:
❌ Giving actionable advice.
❌ Creating fancy visuals.
❌ Exuding confidence.
❌ Amazing personal stories or a great background (though it helps).
So, what is it?
It's vulnerability. Yes, we’ve heard that before too, but let’s really break it down.
How to be authentically vulnerable:
✅ Be transparent about the questions you're struggling with.
✅ Share your challenges AND how you’re approaching them.
✅ Current process > previous results
Another great shift in perspective: There are two ways to create and share content:
💸 As the Salesman: You're the expert, talking about your stuff. It works, but you need to have built rock-solid credibility. You need to build a lot of evidence beforehand.
🍏 As the Product: You live what you talk about. If you’ve already delivered results, share those experiences authentically. If you’re still in the weeds, talk about the challenges you face and how you’re navigating them.
Trust isn’t just about proving yourself.
It’s about showing yourself—flaws, questions, and how you approach them.
If you’re curious to dive deeper, check out the full podcast. What I just wrote about will click even more. Even better: It’s packed with so much more insights.
Way too many for one small post.
Some could help you too with questions you are challenged by. And how you can approach them. For your work. And life.
Thanks for that one, Chris Vasquez Went to bed 1,5 hours later for this. And would do it again.

Is there a rock in your shoe keeping you from writing?
I don't just mean a garden variety obstacle, I'm talking about a major productivity or dream killer. Is there something that needs to change for you to reach your goals?
In today's episode, we discuss The Rock and the Response. We talk about how the obvious layer of the rock almost hides a more important inner layer of dangerous emotion. We consider how difficult it can be to recognize the real causes behind our rocks.
Then we talk about dealing with rocks. Embracing a strategic mindset is key, as is being honest with yourself and being willing to make necessary tradeoffs. Finally, we discuss finding the courage to confront the rocks in our shoes.
