Please check out my latest blog on Estrogen and Breast Cancer https://lnkd.in/eq3DCh_c. The most common concern that our patients bring up in discussing BHRT is the risk of breast cancer. There has been a major shift in our understanding of the original medical literature that caused this concern, in addition to newer data that is driving a change in viewpoint. In this blog I summarize the relevant studies and conclude that there is actually good reason to believe that BHRT, in addition to all its other benefits, is protective of future breast cancer risk.

BCRF investigator Dr. Nancy Lin leads research focused on advancing new strategies to prevent and treat breast cancer metastasis to the brain and central nervous system. Right now, there are more treatments helping people with MBC live longer, but there are only so many available and, unfortunately, they eventually can stop working.
