We’ve recently engaged in an exciting project! 🙌 We are helping upgrade the software and user interfaces of Livivos, Inc’s point of care medical device, the LiverScope®. This innovative device enables the simple and rapid diagnosis of fatty liver disease, aiming to provide the accuracy of MRI in point of care settings. What are our project's goals? ✅ Software Architecture Assessment. We analyzed the Gen 1 LiverScope® architecture to upgrade the platform to a new, higher capability and more effective instrument. ✅ Software Architecture Implementation. We are reengineering the LiverScope® software towards an enhanced, robust, and scalable architecture, while augmenting its current functionalities. ✅ Documentation. We are providing compliance support by generating the necessary system requirement and specification documentation. How do you scale a highly precise liquid handling solution without impeding on its ability to modular? Often times, we see mechatronics solutions that have been added onto an existing solution with very little integration or bring value to the existing solution.   Last week, I had the opportunity to join ADLM to connect with global leaders in clinical chemistry, molecular diagnostics, mass spectrometry, translational medicine, lab management, and other areas of breaking science in laboratory medicine. Our team at Beckhoff was able to work closely with Hamilton's team in integrating a demo showcasing Beckhoff's flexible track system - XTS and Hamilton's state of the art Vantage Plus System on the floor.
