🎨 Innovating in Wall Painting Technology! 🚀 Excited to share the success of our latest project aimed at transforming the way we approach wall painting on high-rise apartments! Working alongside the brilliant Lasitha Arthanayake and Sahas Ariyawantha, we tackled the complexities of exterior wall painting and found a solution that reduces hazards and simplifies the process. 🛠️ Our focus was on designing a high ladder truck wall painting system with a uniquely configured gearbox featuring three distinct speed settings. This innovation ensures uniformity in painting across different wall surfaces, significantly cutting down the time required for the task. 🔧 To meet our specific needs, we opted for a sliding mesh gearbox. It's not only the best fit for our application but also simpler and easier to design and manufacture than other gearbox types. The gearbox includes spur gears and uses two levers for gear shifting, which occurs when the system is stationary, eliminating the need for auto-synchronization between the input and output shafts. 📊 The result? A safer, more efficient painting process with a fully calculated and modeled gearbox that meets industry standards. We’re proud of this achievement and look forward to applying these insights to future engineering challenges. 🤝 Grateful for the collaborative effort and support from everyone involved.
