We often hear about 𝗘𝗖𝗢systems, but what about TÜV AUSTRIA Group's 𝗢𝗞-system ? 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟭 - 𝗢𝗞 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗟 Packaging or products with the #OKcompost 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗟 logo are guaranteed to be #biodegradable in an industrial composting facility. This applies to all #components, #inks and #additives. The single point of reference for the certification scheme is the #harmonised #standard #EN13432. This standard will soon be revised and we have a front-row seat, having been involved in the preparatory working group for this revision for several years. Other similar standards such as #ISO17088 or #ASTMD6400 may also be assessed at the same time and added to the 𝗢𝗞 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗟 certificate. Every #packaging bearing the 𝗢𝗞 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗟 logo complies in all cases with the requirements of the EU Packaging Directive (#PPWD), which is also currently being revised (#PPWR). PS: the Vinçotte version of the logos disappeared over 7 years ago: so today only the TÜV AUSTRIA certificates and logos are valid!
