"Why do we so often skip celebrating our wins?" Think about it. How often do you reach the end of the week, look back, and think, “I didn’t really accomplish much…” even though you’ve been non-stop? For many, acknowledging wins feels: Too small to matter: We think only the “big stuff” counts as real progress, so we brush off all the small, daily achievements that got us through the week. A little selfish: It can feel strange or even self-indulgent to pause and celebrate ourselves, especially for working moms juggling career, family, and everything in between. Unnecessary: There’s always something else to do, so taking time to recognize wins can seem like a luxury we just don’t have. But here’s the cost of not celebrating: constantly looking ahead without acknowledging what we’ve done leaves us feeling like we’re always behind. It’s a cycle that can drain our motivation and make us doubt our own progress. We start to feel like we’re falling short, even when we’re moving mountains. Now, let’s flip the script. What happens when we celebrate our wins? Energy and Motivation Soar: Recognizing your achievements—no matter how small—gives you a sense of pride and fuel to keep going. Small wins build momentum. Perspective Shifts: When you celebrate wins, you see the week for what it really is—evidence of resilience, effort, and progress, rather than a string of “incomplete tasks.” Less Burnout, More Fulfillment: Celebrating keeps you connected to why you do what you do and reminds you that you’re more than just your to-do list. This week, why not give yourself a break? Choose 3 things you’ve accomplished and take a moment to acknowledge them. It doesn’t have to be fancy. Even a small treat or quiet reflection can make a huge difference. What’s one win you’re celebrating this week? Drop it below—I’d love to cheer you on! #CelebrateYourWins #WorkingMoms #FinishStrong #MindsetMatters #Momentum

I've been working on putting more accountability in place for my business. Mainly so I become more strategic, don't drift, find excuses or procrastinate. At the start of the week shared my to do list with those who I am seeking to be accountable to. Then I quickly realised this was not the right approach. Instead of asking "What do I need to do this week?" I asked questions like "How do I want to feel at the end of the week?" "What will I be celebrating?" "What impact do I want to have?" "How do I want to feel?" By shifting away from the to do and focusing on to be I have gained more clarity and focus. I have noticed when I am getting distracted (a massive work in progress) I have noticed when I am having an impact. How do you start your week? What impact could shifting from to do - to - to be have?

🔥 New week, fresh perspective. 🔥 Lately, I’ve been thinking about legacy—not the kind that shows up in titles, promotions, or LinkedIn updates—but the kind that leaves a lasting mark on the hearts and minds of those around us. 👥 What does it really mean to be someone’s hero? Spoiler alert: it’s not about having all the answers or checking off every box on your to-do list. It’s about being there—really being there—when it counts. It’s choosing time over tasks, conversations over meetings, and connection over late nights at the office. This applies not only to our families and friends but extends to our coworkers, partners, clients, and even those we cross paths with in small ways. Years from now, what will people remember? The late-night emails and packed schedules? Or those moments when you put the phone down and truly listened? The titles you held, or the times you showed up when they needed you most? This weekend, I made a conscious choice to unplug, to be all in with my family, friends, and team, and to savor those simple, meaningful interactions that we too often let slip by. It was a reminder that success isn’t always about productivity—it’s about presence. 💡 Being someone’s hero isn’t about doing more; it’s about being more—more present, more attentive, more human. As we enjoy the last moments of the weekend and kick off a new week, let’s keep that energy going. Let’s remember that it’s people who matter most, and they don’t need us to be perfect; they just need us to be there. Whether it’s offering a helping hand to a colleague, giving your time to a customer, or being a friend when someone needs one—showing up makes all the difference. 👉 How will you show up this week? What’s one way you’ll make time for what truly matters? Share below—let’s keep each other inspired to make every moment count! #PhoenixCIA #LegacyOverTitles #MakeTimeForWhatMatters #BePresent #NewWeekNewMindset #HeroInTheEveryday

It´s Friday and as we move towards the end of the working week, I am reminded of this much-used quote: Comparison is the thief of joy. I have witnessed several clients this week, downplay themselves as they compared themselves to someone else or where they think they *should* be, even when they know they are doing it. Can we all stop for just 1 minute and reflect on ourselves and what we have been, done, improved upon this week? Give ourselves a pat on the back or even just be proud of ourselves for more than one moment? Before rushing to the next thing, phone call, meeting or the weekend. How about doing that with our teams too? Not comparing ourselves or our teams to another person or team. Just focusing on ourselves and celebrating those small or bigger wins. What are you celebrating yourself/your team for this week? #fridayreflection #highachievers #wellbeing #teamwork #empoweryou

Friday Reminder!🚀 As the workweek wraps up, it’s important to take a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate all that’s been accomplished—no matter how big or small the wins may be. In the fast-paced world we navigate, it’s easy to overlook the small victories that pave the way to bigger successes. Today, let’s empower ourselves by acknowledging our progress and recharging for what’s ahead. Whether it’s closing that deal, tackling a new challenge, or simply staying consistent, every achievement counts. Let this reflection fuel your motivation and drive for the coming week. Stay strong, keep moving forward, and remember—you’ve got this! 💼🌟 #FridayMotivation #CelebrateSuccess #ProgressMatters #EmpowerYourself #ReflectAndRecharge #WeeklyReflection

Ending this work week with more realizations: 9. One of the biggest lies I’ve heard growing up is, “It will get easier.” Here’s the truth: it never does. What actually happens is that you become better. I remember struggling with an endless workload, coaching leaders, and managing employee problems that seemed to multiply by the minute. Instead of things getting easier, I learned how to navigate my emotions and handle the pressure more effectively. You don’t escape the challenges, but you grow more resilient. You gain experience and learn to manage better, but the struggles are always there. So don’t wait for life to become easier—focus on becoming stronger. 10. Some things in life are inevitable. You can delay them, but you can’t deny them. Ignoring a problem won’t make it disappear, and avoiding it doesn’t solve it. When my dog’s health started declining, I realized that postponing decisions only left me unprepared. Things happen because they’re meant to, and the sooner we can recognize what’s inevitable, the better we can prepare ourselves. Delaying only increases the shock, but preparation softens the blow. You can delay, but you can’t deny. 11. Life rarely unfolds exactly as planned. You can pour time and energy into something only to find it doesn’t work or isn’t possible. When I left my previous company, I had to rethink my approach and let go of the original plan. But I’ve learned that when you understand everything has a purpose, you become more open to the possibilities around you. When things don’t go as planned, it can feel less like a setback and more like a redirection. If something didn’t happen today, maybe it wasn’t supposed to—maybe something better is coming tomorrow. There’s always a reason behind life’s twists, even if it’s not immediately clear. Let's continue next week, while I count down to the day I celebrate my 30-something name day. 😁 (Throwback to a class I facilitated in May on Problem Solving and Decision-Making Skills)
