🌟 Wishing everyone a joyous Chaitra Navratri, Gudi Padwa, and Eid ul-Fitr! 🌟 As we immerse ourselves in the spirit of these auspicious occasions, let us marvel at the rich cultural tapestry of Bharat and the diverse traditions that color our lives. Chaitra Navratri, heralding the arrival of spring, brings with it a sense of rejuvenation and spiritual awakening. It's a time when we honor the divine feminine energy through the worship of Goddess Durga, seeking her blessings for strength, prosperity, and protection. As Mahatma Gandhi once said, "A man gains no strength by eating much, but much strength by fasting." This sentiment resonates deeply during Navratri, where fasting is not merely a religious practice but also a symbol of inner strength and self-discipline. Gudi Padwa, celebrated predominantly in Maharashtra, symbolizes new beginnings and the onset of spring. It's a time to cherish our traditions and set goals for the year ahead. Eid ul-Fitr, the festival of breaking the fast, holds profound significance in the Islamic calendar. It commemorates the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting, prayer, and reflection. In our culturally rich land, fasting holds a special place. It transcends religious boundaries and underscores the values of discipline, self-control, and empathy. Whether observed during Navratri, Ramzan, or other occasions, fasting serves as a reminder of our shared humanity and the importance of spiritual nourishment. Moreover, scientific studies have shown numerous benefits of fasting for our bodies. From promoting weight loss and improving metabolic health to reducing inflammation and enhancing brain function, fasting has been recognized for its positive effects on overall well-being. As we celebrate these festivals, let us also reflect on the significance of fasting in Indian culture and the scientific benefits it brings to our bodies. It teaches us resilience, gratitude, and compassion for those less fortunate. May this festive season bring joy, prosperity, and unity to all! #ChaitraNavratri #GudiPadwa #EidulFitr #FestivalsOfIndia #UnityInDiversity #CelebrationOfCulture #ScientificBenefitsOfFasting

Tirupati is one of biggest shrines in India. Test reports have confirmed the use of beef fat and fish oil in making "Tirupati Laddu Prasadam" at the Tirupati Temple. Just imagining that the Prasad we take so fondly and expecting it to be divine and turns out that it has beef in it. Outrageous... This is One of the worst blasphemous incidents in independent India. Any other community would have brought the country to a standstill over such a case, at the very least, but... This should enrage every Hindu. How much longer will we tolerate this assault on our beliefs? It’s outrageous that our temples are under govt control, allowing such sacrilege to happen. This MUST be the tipping point. No more compromises. Hindu temples should be run solely by Hindus – no interference, no exceptions, and no outsiders dictating how we manage our sacred places !!!! #linkedinpost #Hindus #india #trending #cawithswag

I have often heard that #SwamiVivekanada was heart broken with the ways, Hindus acted. Swamiji was bent stirring the great cauldron of India, whose incomparable treasures had sunk to the bottom, lying motionless and hidden under layers of debris. The whole nation was sunk in tamas, heavy, inert almost impossible to move. But in the heart of the nation, he knew the embers were still glowing, needing only to be fanned into flame by the fresh breeze of ideas both old and new. He knew that in the basic spiritual nature of the Hindu villager lay the hope of his motherland, and he knew that nature had not died; it could be fully revived. He wrote to #Alasinga in March of 1896: “The only hope of India is from the masses. The upper classes are physically and morally dead” Why should I waste my energies defending #Hinduism if the #Hindus all go to sleep? What are you three hundred millions of people doing there, especially those that are so proud of their learning etc.? Why do you not take up the fighting and leave me to teach and preach? Here am I struggling day and night in the midst of stranger. . . . What help does India send? Did the world ever see a nation with less patriotism than the Indian? If you could send and maintain for a few years a dozen well-educated strong men to preach in Europe and America, you would do immense service to India, both morally and politically. Every man who morally sympathises with India becomes a political friend. Many of the Western people think of you as a nation of half-naked savages, and therefore only fit to be whipped into civilisation. If you three hundred millions become cowed by the missionaries–you cowards–and dare not say a word, what can one man do in a far distant land? Even what I have done, you do not deserve. courtesy: https://lnkd.in/gJCR9izX Magzter

🌼Why is Vishwakarma jayanti celebrated before Dussehra? He is called Vishwakarma, vishwa means world. He isn't called Bharat karma. (Bharat means India). What? Vishwakarma, He renews the entire world. So, Dussehra comes after september in october. Dussehra comes inorder to destroy the 10 heads of Ravan. Until we destroy the 10 heads the new world can't be established. And until God comes and gives us the knowledge, teaches us the Rajayoga we can't gain victory over the 10 vices either. So, Dussehra certainly falls on october. However, we can also celebrate the actual Dussehra only when the Father of the world, who makes the world new comes to this world first in september. This is why they celebrate Vishwakarma jayanti. 🌼Kill the Ravan inside you and be the change that you wish to see in the world. Ravan is burnt every year. Does he die? His picture (i.e. effigy) is made even bigger. So, you burn Ravan, (but) he becomes even bigger. He does not die. He does not die; so he exists, doesn’t he? Or did he perish by burning? Now you have to become pure and hence the masters of the pure world. It means that the kingdom of Ravan will not end by preparing and burning an effigy of someone else. What should we do? If we reform ourselves, the world will get reformed. When the five vices, which are in us, come to an end, when they get burnt, become ash, then what will everyone be like in the world around us? Everyone will be vice less. If we become like Lakshmi & Narayan, then what will our friends and companions be like? They will be like Lakshmi & Narayan. FYI, the above explanations are from Divine Constitution (Ishwariya Samvidhaan). If you have any questions or want to know more, please DM. #Dussehra #SriRam #RavanDahan #RavanVadh #Navratri #DurgaPooja #DurgaMaa #Mahakali #SanatanaDharma #Sanatani #Hindu #Festivals #FestivalVibes #linkedincommunity
