Sample preparation and pipetting with Festo With Festo USA products and subsystems, handling sample containers and the pipetting of liquids takes place seamlessly in the same workspace. In the initial step, the EHMD rotary gripping module secures the sample vessel, positions it for bar code identification, and opens it. The second step, pipetting, is carried out in the same workspace. During this step, sample liquid is drawn and dispensed into the microwell plate wells, and the pipette tip is replaced after each cycle. With the Coast Pneumatics engineering team and Festo, solutions like this are just one of the many possibilities. https://lnkd.in/dp2mkgSa #coastpneumatics #pneumatic #pneumatics #festo #fluidpower #flowcontrol #fluidhandling #liquidhandling #pipette #pipetting #dispensing #medical #medicaldevices #labratory #systems #vials #samples #samplehandling #automation #processautomation #engineering #iso #iso90012015

One challenge when joining complex components is that the same clamping force is required at all points. Each weld is controlled individually with a parameterizable clamping module. In this example, four components are arranged on a rotary table side and are all processed simultaneously in one machine cycle by four individual clamping modules. Individual quality control is possible using the joining collapse monitoring integrated in the clamping module. We emphasize the importance of a simple setup concept in order to keep setup times as short as possible. A quick and intuitive tool change prevents unnecessary production downtimes and enables the problem-free production of different components on one machine. The unique advantage: In this version of an Evo 2800, either four smaller components can be processed with four clamping modules or two larger components with two coupled clamping modules. Flexibility paired with high performance ensure years of cost-effectiveness in your production. #laserplasticwelding #technology #manufacturing #evosys

1.5 years back I had an opportunity to visit one of the Bearing manufacturing company. There I observed one of the semi-automatic bearing seal pressing machine, In which when both two push button pressed simultaneously it actuated the cylinder and seal got pressed on the bearing. It looks fascinated and some of the advance stuff to me. That inspired me to learn the things which are truly industrial aligned so I joined NAMTECH to learn this things. As I completed my first module as Pneumatics, that machine looks fascinated to me it looks very obvious now. During my Pneumatics & Pneumatic system module I learned the use of DCVs, Pilot DCVs, Flow control valves, Switches, Limit switches, Pressure sequence valve, Modular Valve and so more and I also done the Hands on the each and every components on our workstation. I spent more than 150+ hrs in my Pneumatics module to learn this all things from beginning and there is an extra time also after the institute timing. As I mentioned in video I wanted to challenge myself more so I made a virtual wheel and I got || D+D-C+C-B+B-A+A- || signal overlapping circuit, It challenged me so hard that it almost took 4 to 4.5 to complete the whole circuit through Cascading method from scratch. During the process of circuit making, - There was 2-3 times, I have to re-think & re-draw on paper as well as on the #FluidSim software for ideation of problem. - It takes so many attempts to make the circuit on the workstation and Troubleshooting it. - But after multiple attempts I did it. This challenge gave so much of learning and also increased my capabilities in the Pneumatics. It gave me the basic idea that how can we encounter signal overlapping by Cascading method in more than 3 cylinders. A special Thank to all my Pneumatics faculties Rajendra shimpi sir, Keyur Surati sir & PARMAR PRASHANT sir for that Magical teaching style and support throughout the whole module and I am also very excited to learn electro-pneumatics from you all. I special Thank to NAMTECH to provide us Festo equipped high-tech labs and also opened up its labs even though on holiday on our request. 😊 #Pneumatics #Namtech #TechnologistProgram #Automation #iPTP #PneumaticSystem #Festo #FestoSystems

In the world of precision engineering, where tolerances are often measured in microns, quality inspection is not just a step in the manufacturing process – it’s a critical safeguard that ensures the reliability, safety, and performance of every component produced. RST works with industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical devices and telecommunications where even the slightest deviation from specifications can lead to significant consequences, so we need to be sure our quality inspection is on the money. One of the primary goals of our Quality Inspection team is to verify that each component meets its specified dimensional tolerances. In precision engineering, the components that we make often need to fit together perfectly in complex assemblies. Our quality inspection team use advanced coordinate measuring machines (CMM’s), laser scanners and optical comparators to check the integrity and accuracy of our components. In addition, our quality inspection processes include material testing, to identify any internal defects such as cracks, voids, or inclusions, that could compromise the component's structural integrity. Quality inspection also includes the evaluation of surface roughness, waviness, and texture ensuring that the surface finish meets the required specifications. Precision engineering components are often subject to stringent industry standards and regulations, particularly in the sectors we work with, such as aerospace, medical devices and telecommunications. Our quality inspection team must ensure that the components we produce comply with these standards and be able to supply the relevant documentation and traceability, ensuring that every step of the manufacturing process is recorded and audited. As a business we have both BS EN ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D accreditations, meaning that we are recognised for our quality management systems across general precision engineering services and also with the aerospace sector. The Quality team are a key part of RST Engineering and as such they see every single job that comes through the business. Every component that we manufacture goes through our temperature-controlled facility for cleaning and inspection to ensure that the end product to the customer is of the highest standard and accuracy. By prioritizing our quality inspection services, RST not only safeguards the integrity of our products but also demonstrates our commitment to excellence in delivering high quality precision engineering products to our customers. #engineering #precisionengineering #accuracy #quality #manufacturing #ukmanufacturing

🔄 From WEISS North America, Inc., the LS One transforms complex assembly automation into streamlined solutions with three powerful pre-programmed movement scenarios built into the system. These innovative motion profiles make complex automation simple: -Grouping: Workpiece carriers form dynamic groups of 2 or more units, moving together and separating as needed. Perfect for batch processing electronics or coordinating medical device assemblies. -Nesting: Enables multiple processing steps in minimal space through precise forward/backward movements at each station. Ideal for automotive component assembly and precision instrument manufacturing. -Tracking: Extends tool travel paths by synchronizing carrier movement with pick-and-place modules - essential for continuous motion applications like high-speed packaging. The LS One arrives pre-programmed through the WEISS Application Software (W.A.S.), yet offers complete flexibility to combine and customize these movements for your specific needs. Whether you're handling complex end products or managing varying process times, LS One adapts to your requirements. The numbers speak for themselves: -Positioning accuracy: ±0.03mm in all directions -Speed capability: Up to 4 m/s -Carrier capacity: Up to 64 workpiece carriers -Load handling: Up to 5kg per carrier 🎯 Looking to simplify your complex assembly processes? Contact M6 Revolutions for a customized WEISS LS One demo and see these movement scenarios in action. #WEISS #Automation #Manufacturing #Precision #M6Revolutions
