Our single-shot, disposable, bare fibre system provides a low cost means of obtaining a quality VSP survey in oil and gas, geothermal, CO2 storage and mining applications. It can be used in shallow, deep, vertical, deviated and horizontal wellbores, acoustically coupling to the wall of the wellbore and providing accurate depth calibration. There are three key advantages: 1. With no wireline units, cable drums, lubricators or complex pressure control equipment, the rig-up footprint is reduced by 95%.
