🎬 That's a wrap! We are delighted to announce the completion of our inaugural #BluewAIve Accelerator and celebrate the achievements of our first cohort. Last week, the cohort gathered in Portland for a Venture Showcase at The Roux Institute at Northeastern University. They presented their innovative products and services focused on ocean exploration, conservation, and the sustainable use of ocean resource to an engaged audience of entrepreneurs, investors, students, industry partners, and community members. It was inspiring to work with all seven BLUE Tech startups over the past four months on projects ranging from Self-supervised learning for object detection in the ocean, to habitat suitability and impact assessment in the marine environment, to seeing underwater with hyperspectral-based object detection, to Blue Carbon measurement using satellite sensors and foundation models. We (The Gulf of Maine Research Institute, The Roux Institute at Northeastern University, and the Institute for Experiential AI at Northeastern University) enjoyed hosting and helping you on your journey as part of the hashtag #BluewAIve Accelerator!
