Every business can be sexy.
Could be your numbers. Might be your office culture.
Or your tech firm’s charming visual language.
To me, a sexy business means putting in effort to stay current.
Not all brands have to go through a rigorous rebrand to do that.
Often, it’s simply a deliberate decision to clearly identify the position first.
Craft a key pillar and angle your interpretation of narratives.
Be it E, or the S, for the G. Pick one.
Take small steps. Start from there. Live by it.
With that last step being the most tedious.
With this year Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, there was this attempt to showcase to the world.
That they’re current. Deliberately.
Visual manipulation?
I witnessed a concerted effort.
With every Angel’s race, age, size, materials, they’re representing the brand on the runway with every single step.
That the business of high-fashion lingerine can be a sexy, virtuous business.
As Victoria’s Secret struts her next step forward.
Live by it. Don’t slip.

Angels and a star-studded runway only mean one thing: the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
After a six-year hiatus, the iconic event returned to over two million viewers. While the supermodels donned their famed wings and strutted down the runway in lingerie, there were noticeable differences from the runway shows of the past.
Perhaps this new era could be what the brand needs to endear it to customers seeking inclusive offerings.
