How to deliver a positive Thanksgiving speech? This is for my American friends. Many of you will be travelling to family and friends in preparation for this week’s festivities and you might find yourself in the position of giving a little speech at the Thanksgiving Dinner. It’s a great opportunity to bring people together through warmth, gratitude and connection. Here are a few tips to help you craft a heartfelt message that’s sincere and leaves a memorable impact on everyone at the table… Start by acknowledging everyone at the table with a personal touch. Use your personal stories that are relatable to connect with everyone. You might want to reflect on the year, touching briefly on some of the challenges as well as the positive things that happened - be aware that not everyone might have had a great year for all sorts of reasons, so be sensitive to that, read the room! You can bring in a bit of humour to lighten the mood if that’s appropriate by using a funny anecdote. The main thing is to speak from your heart, be sincere, genuine and authentic. You can finish up wishing everyone all very the best for the coming year with a final close that’s uplifting, optimistic and positive. Leave your guests feeling of warmth, gratitude and hope. Don’t make it longer than a couple of minutes, 5 mins max! Lastly, think about this, you can make a real impact with a short speech like that, be a really positive contribution to others - and it costs nothing! Safe travels… #thanksgiving #thanksgivingspeech #speechskills #publicspeaking

At its heart, Thanksgiving is more than just a holiday—it’s an opportunity to reflect, connect, and celebrate with intention. As an event strategy company, we know that the most memorable gatherings aren’t about extravagance but purposeful moments shared with others. This Thanksgiving, let’s focus on what truly matters: -Presence over Perfection: It’s the conversations, not the centerpieces, that guests will remember. -Connection over Crowds: Meaningful exchanges matter more than numbers. -Purpose over Pressure: Give yourself space to enjoy the day without the need for everything to be perfect. From our team to yours, we wish you a day filled with gratitude, connection, and joy. Happy Thanksgiving! #MindfulMela #Thanksgiving2024 #Gratitude #MindfulGatherings

𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞, but the reality is that while it's a period of celebration for some, it can absolutely be a period of sadness for others. I've experienced both joy and sadness across the years over different holidays, and I just wanted to put this out as a bit of a gentle statement to my network. -- If you've lost a family member or close friend and this is your first Thanksgiving and Christmas without them, I am thinking of you today. -- If you've suffered a major setback in the last year job-wise or otherwise, and find yourself in this season of the year reflecting on that in ways that are painful for you, I'm thinking of you today. -- If you're in spot where little joy is visible today, my hope is that you are able to find joy in the cracks and spaces where joy exists and that you are able to extrapolate that feeling into other areas of your world. In short, if you're in my network, I wanted to extend a Happy Thanksgiving from my family to you and yours today. As we near the end of 2024, I wish you fulfilment, contentment, and peace in the days ahead. May we balance the wheel between celebration of our accomplishments, fellowship with our loved ones, and (where necessary) learning our lessons along the road from here to 2025.

Thanksgiving is, in my opinion, the second most important holiday after Spring Festival. Because our daily life and work cannot be separated from the help of those around us, who help us become better and better. Similarly, as our abilities grow, we also pass on this goodwill So thank you, not only for our family, partners, customers, suppliers, or those who have helped us, but also for your help. Wishing you a happy day. #Thanksgivingday #business #dailylife #Basictechnology

As Thanksgiving approaches, I'm reflecting on the deeper meaning of this special holiday—a time to embrace gratitude, unity, and shared humanity. While Thanksgiving is a deeply American tradition, its message transcends borders, reminding us to pause and appreciate the people, opportunities, and experiences that enrich our lives. This year, I'm privileged to celebrate Thanksgiving in Israel with family and friends, weaving together traditions old and new in a place where cultural exchange carries profound significance. Gratitude knows no boundaries, and this holiday illuminates its remarkable power to bridge divides—whether in our personal relationships or professional endeavors. In the workplace, the essence of Thanksgiving resonates powerfully. Gratitude serves as a catalyst for collaboration deepens professional bonds, and nurtures an environment where trust and respect can flourish. With partners, prospects, and customers alike, expressing genuine appreciation transcends mere courtesy to become the foundation of lasting, meaningful connections. In these times of global complexity and division, Thanksgiving offers a transformative lens through which to view both life and business: by honoring our shared humanity, celebrating what unites us, and valuing the distinct contributions of each individual, we create spaces where trust, understanding, and progress can thrive. To everyone, near and far, I extend wishes for a season filled with warmth, gratitude, and genuine connection. May we carry the spirit of Thanksgiving into our workplaces, our partnerships, and every relationship we nurture throughout the year. #Thanksgiving #Gratitude #WorkplaceCulture #Partnerships #GlobalUnity #SharedHumanity

This weekend of Thanksgiving, I opened my mailbox and was surprised by a card from my son's teacher. As I read it, a big smile spread across my face. The card expressed gratitude for my son's enthusiastic participation in class discussions, and I felt an overwhelming sense of pride and joy for my boy. However, as I reveled in this moment, a thought crept in—how often do I verbally express my appreciation for him? As I tried to count, I realized there weren't many instances, and I told myself, I need to change that. The truth is, we often live surrounded by people whom we barely appreciate. We go about our busy lives, caught up in tasks, deadlines, and to-do lists, often overlooking the human connections that support us every step of the way. But it’s these very people who make life meaningful—the ones who share in our struggles and victories, both big and small. When was the last time you thanked an employee for consistently achieving their targets, or for going the extra mile on a project? Have you expressed gratitude to your manager for mentoring and coaching you, for taking the time to invest in your personal and professional growth? What about your suppliers, for their reliable partnership that keeps your business running smoothly? Have you thanked your clients for their loyalty, for choosing you over and over again amidst countless other options? And most importantly, have you thanked your family? The people who are there in your quietest moments, providing love, support, and a sense of home. Too often, we take these relationships for granted, assuming they already know how we feel. But do they? As we celebrate Thanksgiving here in Canada, it’s a timely reminder to not just count our blessings but to also celebrate the people who enrich our lives. Let’s show them, through words and actions, how much we value them. A simple “thank you” can go a long way in making someone feel seen and appreciated. So this Thanksgiving, let’s pause and make an intentional effort to acknowledge those around us. Our family, friends, colleagues, clients, and partners—all the people who contribute to our daily lives deserve our appreciation. Let’s not let another moment pass without expressing it. Happy Thanksgiving!

This week, many in the United States will celebrate Thanksgiving, a holiday dedicated to expressing gratitude. While Thanksgiving is not observed everywhere in the world, the sentiment it represents is universal. Regardless of our locations or traditions, we all have reasons to be thankful. As we approach this week, I encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on and appreciate the key aspects of our lives that bring us joy and fulfillment. In the spirit of thankfulness, take a moment to: * Acknowledge your personal and professional achievements: Take pride in your milestones, both big and small. * Appreciate your relationships: Whether with family, friends, or colleagues, express gratitude for the support and companionship they provide. * Recognize the positives: Even amidst challenges, focusing on the good in your life can bring you a sense of balance and peace. Let’s use this opportunity to spread positivity and gratitude between each other and make thankfulness a part of our global culture.

Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃✨ As we gather with loved ones, it’s important to remember that holidays can sometimes bring stress and joy. Here are three simple strategies to help maintain harmony: 1️⃣ Step Away if Needed: A quick breather can help you stay composed in tense moments. 2️⃣ Choose Your Responses Wisely: Not every comment needs a reply; sometimes, it’s best to let things go. 3️⃣ Focus on Gratitude: Whether it’s the people, the traditions, or the food, find something to appreciate. Here’s to a Thanksgiving filled with meaningful connections and a little extra patience. 🍁 Wishing you all a peaceful holiday.

"Should I invite my fresh date to a family holiday dinner?" 🤔 It’s exciting to introduce someone new to your family, but is it the right time? Here’s how to know if you’re ready to take that step: Gauge Your Connection: Are you comfortable and enjoying each other's company? If the vibe is strong, it could be a fun experience for both. Check Their Comfort Level: Is your date ready to meet the family? Keep an open conversation about it. Set Expectations: Keep it light and fun! A family holiday dinner shouldn’t feel like a serious commitment; just enjoy each other's company. Trust Your Gut: If it feels right, go for it. If you’re unsure, maybe wait until you have more time together before the big introduction! What do you think? Would you invite a fresh date to a family gathering? Share your thoughts in the comments! 👇✨ #newdate #freshrelationship #familydinner #holidayseason #datingquestion
